"Had a delux queen room. Room came with a refrigerator which was a surprise because it wasn't listed as having one. Great view of the valley from balcony.Short walk to main lodge where there was a restaurant."

"As a family we really enjoyed the stay here with our kids. Host was really helpful and so kind. We really appreciate his kindness. Kitchen was really equipped, so it was easy to find things. He let us stay for a few more hours beyond the checkout time as well. We really appreciate it! "

Mountain Views, River Frontage & HotTub + Country!

"It was great for my little family and even our little dog. Nice trail to the river and well maintained. A/C and heater worked great and all appliances except the bathroom shower pressure was low but worked.Take your hair dryer if you have long hair. The hot tub was a plus and clean. Hope to rent it again. "

"Clean and quiet property. Beautiful views. Close to the caverns and downtown Luray. Short drive to the National Park. Pool wasn't open yet, but looked clean with plenty of chairs. No frills, but that's okay. I was looking for a clean, safe, quiet place to stay to go hiking, not to hang out at the hotel. Brought my own Kurig for my room and muffins & protein bars for breakfast. Nice staff. Shiva was nice and let me keep my car in the lot after checkout while we took our other car to the trails for one last hike. Thank you, Shiva!"

"This is a beautiful old hotel. The grounds are so well maintained and beautiful. We stayed in the Theodore Roosevelt room, which was lovely with a sitting room. My only complaint was that the couch and chair were not usable. They were extremely uncomfortable., so we didnt really get to enjoy the sitting room."
