Very friendly and helpful staff, reasonable room and restaurant. Good value.
This property definitely gets a mixed review- seems like maybe parts of the property have been renovated, but the rooms we were in definitely had NOT. The exercise room appeared to have a lot of equipment. The pool water was murky and lots of debris floating in it. We arrived to reception which appeared very nice, but then you notice right behind a chandelier is a light fixture with no cover. We are taken to our family room which is a stand alone 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, with a sitting area in between with a microwave, refrigerator and stove. The place was very spacious, but looks like it may have been nice 30 years ago. One bathroom had no handle to turn on hot shower water, both showers had a frame with no door, if you walk around the bottom of your feet are filthy. The bedding looks nice in pictures, but the pillows are lumpy and smell. Shortly after we arrived, someone came and brought a can of air freshener and bug spray…..so they know it is a problem. The window screens are ripped and one of the windows didn’t close all of the way, so mosquitos, spiders, flying insects were in the room. It did have mosquito nets for sleeping though. Our first night the power went out and the backup generator did not kick in. We went to breakfast and I asked at reception about the generator, and they said “we’re working on it, we’ll let you know.” Breakfast tables were decorated very nicely and the food was good.
it is well located and very accessible. It is a very quiet place conducive for study and prayer. I liked the hospitality team as well even the services were amazing. The water was good and available all the time. All in all, it is very good place and a place to be for any activity.
In general friendly.

This hotel tries to be fancy. The dining room is set with two knives and two forks. Most of the time. Sometimes you had just one fork or one knife but two of the other. You never knew. It was always a surprise. Great food though. Very good and plentiful. You never knew what your room would have after housekeeping was done. Our towel and washcloth count changed every day. Not all doors locked. Our patio door to outside had no working lock. Did not feel very secure. We did not get the two types of rooms we requested in the booking. It worked out though. WiFi is spotty at best. Several things were falling apart- door frames broken, broken tiles, no shower door or curtain, the locks in the door rotated so it was hard to unlock your door. A nice enough hotel all around if you realize you are in Africa and this is not American standards.
Incompetent front desk... Knew nothing of of how to check in someone that had booked online... Wanted me to present her my credit card so she could secure the room... Um that's what happens when you book online... Argued with me of how things works online with booking... Manager got involved and tried to make things right but it was a little to late in my eyes... Stay somewhere else for your own convenience...

Hotel personnel was great and great service.
My stay was OK. Great Hotel staff, Food was great. Bed size was great but not too comfy, the mattress is with metal spring and not great foam cushion on top of the spring. Shower tap need to be replaced to allow easy flow of water or add shower column to the bath. Wifi connection was very slow.
Overall enjoy my Stay.

Good value and comfortable hotel
The hotel itself is good and the facilities are ok. It is quite difficult to find but that's not unusual in Lusaka. The restaurant food and service are variable with many things that are on the menu not being available and a rather lacklustre buffet. Free Wifi is available but it is fairly slow and is off and on. Overall OK and I would stay again

Overnattede, fik en lokal øl og sandwich i baren. Øllet koldt og sandwichen god (skinke, ost og club sandwich)
Bassin, med god plads omkring.
God morgenmad.
Aftensmaden, her kunne "kun" vælges kylling.
Was very disappointed. The bed was uncomfortable, air-conditioning was totally ineffective and the room was hot. Could not sleep three nights. The bathroom was in very poor condition, bad lighting and water pressure was low. On third day, I complained and was moved to a much better (very fancy room) for the last day. Even the steps going to second floor (first floor in Zambia) were uneven - some very high, some low.
Access road to the hotel is just a dirt road and nothing is close by. You have to take a taxi to go to the nearest restaurant. The restaurant had almost no vegetarian options.
Their luxury rooms however are good.
The hotel was fine. The staff were somewhat friendly but not particularly helpful. Facilities etc were all clean. Bathroom lights didn't work. It's quite far from town. On the whole satisfactory
very friendly staff and manager willing to give any help needed
location was not accurate on hotels.com website

Nice hotel in a tranquil quiet location
We stayed for one night after flying into Lusaka en route to Liningtone. Staff were freindly and helpful, breakfast was good (we were too tired to bother with dinner). Everything was clean and tidy. Internet worked ok near reception. We would stay again.
Hotel difficult to find, large room and large bathroom both in need of some modernization. The mattress had was coil sprung with very limited padding on top giving a very uncomfortable nights sleep.
The bar had limited drinks either soft or alcoholic and the dinner was limited to a buffet although a snack menu was produced on request. There was a nice sized pool but only table and chairs around it, no sun loungers. The staff were efficient rather than friendly. In International terms this hotel would not warrant 2 stars although was reasonable value on a special deal
I stayed in the hotel for 10 days on business. It is a calm oasis outside the city centre, very well maintained, with clean rooms and public areas. The staff are helpful and pleasant. The restaurant prepared special meals off the menu for me. The best part is the surroundings - tranquil, clean, and quiet - a great place to stay for a longer stretch in Lusaka. The electricity and water went out occasionally, but the generator comes on almost immediately, so this was not a problem, plus the wifi was generally reliable. I would recommend this place and will stay there again.
