"Great stay at the Moorlands Hotel"

"Room lovely but unfortunately stairs a little difficult to navigate with luggage and unable to get any tv network trying to watch World Cup game"

"The hotel needs air conditioning in all bedrooms as the rooms were too hot. There were no fridges in the bedrooms to keep water cold etc which was disappointing as we had to ask for glasses of ice to do this. Staff were exceptional and the spa and swimming pool were really good. A great location on the edge of Dartmoor with access to some great walks."

"The room was great for an overnight stay. The only negative was the sounds (TV) / talking / laughing from linked room(s). Things settled after midnight but we had a very early start so didn't get much sleep."

"I don’t know who Lord Haldon is, but one thing I know for sure is that he hates everyone who stays at his hotel. We’ll start with the positives. The views from the garden and parking area are lovely. The bed was clean and comfortable. End of positives. Both the hotel’s communal areas and our room were extremely dirty, poorly maintained, and in need of a complete renovation. The shower, in particular, was pretty gross and just about dribbled out of the showerhead. No toilet brush was provided...
