"The hotel is between 2 busy roads so getting in and out you want to make sure you leave the parking lot on the right side. When checking in, was told "dont stain the towels", thought that was odd until we got in the room and saw the sign for what not to use their towels on. Also, there are signs outside and in the room saying they are not responsible for stollen or damaged items, with all the signs I did not feel comfortable leaving any of our stuff in the room while we were out sightseeing. There was a reason it was cheaper priced."

"Awesome spot! Would recommend. The place is cozy and functional with an awesome view of the lake. Large selection of VHS movies makes you feel nostalgic. Get some ice cream nearby at granny’s. "

"Everything was very good except the check-in process. The chalet is beautiful set in the forest. Has a wonderful large lounge with floor to ceiling windows looking out to the forest and very comfy seating. The room was great. Although a pr of comfy chairs to sit by the wonderful fire would be welcome addition. The only stressor was checking in before arrival. The property sends you a link to check in, which requires you to upload a gov ID. With photo. It rejected my WA state drivers licence, no matter how many times I tried. I eventually called and they sent me a check-in where no ID was , but I had to text a photo of it to the number I had called. With cell coverage being very spotty it stressed me out. As we were driving to the property, and the information said they have no front desk. So be aware if your id is rejected. Just call them. They were very helpful."

"It’s not often that you go to a rental home that is even BETTER than the pictures make it look!!! What a beautiful home in such a stunning place, can’t ask for much more! Immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, has such a homey feel we felt like we were moving in!! Great hosts who clearly take pride in their home and enjoy it as well! We will certainly be back - this time for longer than 3 nights!!! "

"The check in was less than desirable. Hotels.com did not give the hotel my phone number. The way check in is, the hotel said they send a text message for check in, but they were never given mine. After walking around the property, i found the phone number to call. Once i did, the lady was able to send me a text message. I was able to get in. Hotels.com needs to do a better job at communicating this. The room was clean, bed was very comfortable, but do not expect to watch TV before bed. there were none."

"We had a wonderful time staying at this home on beautiful Lake Sutherland! The house had a stunning view of the lake and hills and came fully equipped with what we needed. We also had easy access to many different hiking trails and other outdoor activities. As a bonus, Port Angeles was not too far away to get to a city if we needed anything."
