I had no trouble checking in. There is a bar on site. There are plenty of food options in the area. The room was shared with others, who were quiet and respectful. I lost my key card and they made me a new one free of charge. There are elevators to take you upwards in the 6 story building if you don't want to use the beautiful spiral staircase.

It’s a no frill hotel in a convenient location. The staffs were friendly and the room was so quiet. (We had a triple room). But the room has beds and one night stand. Nothing else is there. The shower leaked water out to the room every time we showered. The provided soap was quite nice. It will be a nice place for a short stay. But not for a long term. It’s a good value for what you pay though.

The staff was shockingly helpful and accommodating. Rooms were very clean (towels weren't replaced super often though). Breakfast was a solid 7/10, basic but more than enough to fill you for the morning. It's a buffet that consists of sandwich supplies, eggs, cereal, and juice. Definitely worth the cost. If I ever come back to Madrid I'm staying here

Location is perfect as it is close to the Atocha train station. Seina Sofia and Prado museums as well as the Retiro park. Some people may prefer to live close to the very busy area (gran via). The place is very well maintained. I would like to stay here again if I ever visit Madrid again. Breakfast is really good, not super fancy but offer many options and good quality. It is great to have a big breakfast before starting walking for almost a whole day.

Amazing time at La Troupe, staff was extremely helpful and met amazing people in my room. Washer and dryer machines aren’t super reliable but they claim they never have issues so idk. Other than that food was excellent, room was the cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed at, and vibes were impeccable.
