Mountain side log cabin

Relax and enjoy the mesmerizing mountain views from the large deck of this newly furnished 2/2 that can sleep 8 comfortably. There is a queen bed in the master bedroom that is on the second floor. And a bunk bed with a queen bottom and twin top in quest bedroom. A queen futon, and a queen sleeper sofa.

The best of both worlds.. completely private home located close to many popular attractions. Perfect for a summer getaway, Leaf Season, or winter skiing and tubing! Enjoy the Biltmore House and Gardens, Cherokee Indian Reservation and Harrah's Casino, Blue Ridge Parkway, Cataloochee Ski Resort, Snow Tubing, Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Railroad, Championship Golf, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, gem mining, Ghost Town in the Sky, and Wheels Thru Time Museum. Shopping, antiquing, and dining in Maggie Valley, Asheville, Waynesville and Dillsboro are what make this visit exciting in the day and relaxing in the evening. Only one hour away on the other side of the Smoky Mountains National Park you can visit Dollywood and Gatlinburg if you want to adventure just a little farther.

This newly furnished home is for families with children or invite another family and make it twice the fun. The second floor offers a queen bed, loft with a futon and a full bathroom. The main level is spacious and open with a high ceiling, gas logs, and a fully stocked kitchen and dining area. This level offers a bedroom with bunk beds (twin and full mattresses) and a full bathroom. Within this room is my monkey's jungle gym as seen in photos. This it not safe for children and I am not liable if any injuries occur while children play on it. The views from the deck are spectacular, and a fire pit and gas grill are there for you to enjoy.

Included are TV’s with satellite in the family room and upstairs bedroom, and free WiFi for your internet needs.

Cards, games, chess and checkers. A relaxing time away from the everyday race to get to know each other again will bring you back time and time again.

Mountain getaway

Perfect place for a few days of relaxation Property manager was just a text away to assist with anything we needed The road to the home was a little scary but we managed it with our SUV and trailer with motorcycle Views were awesome and the people of Maggie Valley were very friendly Thanks for sharing

We were looking for a rustic (well, not too rustic) cabin on a mountain and this was better than we expected. I know there were other cabins around us but couldn't be seen from this cabin. The view from the open concept living room/kitchen that leads to the deck was just spectacular and we spent hours on that deck with our dogs. Nice spacious bathrooms, complete kitchen, we just couldn't ask for anything more. Jodi answered all my questions immediately, her communication was awesome. We loved this cabin and really want to go back.

In reality a one bedroom

I would definitely stay again if I don’t plan on sharing with a friend that expects his/her own room. She stayed in the downstairs room on the bottom bunk which she said wasn’t very comfortable. Perfect for children but not adults. However I did feel badly, and apologized, that her 7 lb Yorkie poo left some “tootsie roll” poops that we didn’t see to clean up before we left.

The cabin was great. It was perfect for our stay. The view was beautiful and it was close to everything we wanted to do. The check in process was easy, the house was clean. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils we could ever need.

Open layout, big windows with fantastic views

Missed the driveway at first as mailbox numbers partially covered with moss. Steep road to turn around on. No worries for the next visitors as address is visible now. Beautiful cabin up high which made for great views from every window. Large deck with plenty of chairs & nice grill. Great fireplace, tall ceilings, windows, open kitchen living space. Upstairs master with private balcony. One downstairs bedroom has bunkbeds /queen bottom & shares a large tree playground setup for owners pet. Great for the pet monkey, not great for the guests but that’s clear in the listing. Perfect for my family of 4 & fur baby; we were comfortable and all enjoyed it.

Loved it!!

We took our kids for Christmas. Im glad they put up decorations, thats one thing i loved. They have everything you need, laundry detergent, they even had a crockpot, which i needed. I'd definitely stay there again. The only thing i will say is that the bed was not comfortable, the master bed has fuzzy things on it and you can feel them through the sheets, and the bed hurt my back really bad. Other than that it was wonderful!

Wonderful Thanskgiving

We loved our stay at Maggie Valley. The cabin house was perfect and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway in the mountains. I hope to be booking more trips. Great host and he can be reached anytime!!

Great little place

Place was very clean, neighborhood quite. Kitchen stocked with most any utensil you might need. Close by to everything. Host very communicative. Nice view of the mountains from property. Will stay again.

Phenomenal experience!!!

Other than the drive up and down the road to get to and from the cabin, it was an amazing experience! The road was a little tricky but we managed it pretty easily lol. Scenic view was astounding! Overall, 100/10 would HIGHLY recommend!! For first responders staying, the local fire departments nearby are absolutely amazing and the folks are so sweet! As volunteer firefighters, we love hanging out with fellow first responders and learning the history of the area. We definitely want to come back!

Great stay

The house stay and location were great! The drive way made me a bit nervous it’s very steep with sharp turns and we were in a big SUV. Don’t let the driveway detour you from this property-just be aware. Love the views from the cabin and the local restaurants were yummo! Will be on our return list for sure
