We had a very pleasant night cap on our balcony overlooking the ocean with a full moon. Otherwise it reminded me of backpacking through Africa and Asia in the mid-seventies. Mahebourg is good for its proximaty to the airport.

The owner is greedy for money , no cleaning for 3 days I stay, bed was dirty , bed shirt had blood , , I ask for water, , he told me there are a a place in the airport, why I didn’t drink water or anything before I come , no one allowed to come to meet me ,he changed me 500 rupees because someone came to deliver water in my room ,

Die Unterkunft ist den Fotos entsprechend und bietet ein gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis Alles wird gepflegt und ist sauber, jedoch schon in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstück mit Baguette, Joghurt, Saft und Kaffee/Tee ist übersichtlich. Mahebourg als Ort bietet jedoch wenig bis gar nichts und eignet sich nur als Übernachtung vor oder nach dem Flug.

Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen Im Deluxezimmer war ein Kühlschrank, zwar leider nicht sauber, eine Mikrowelle, ein Wasserkocher und eine kleine Spülemit etwas Geschirrutensilien. Es gibt Warmwasser in der Dusche. Es ist alles schon etwas älter, aber sehr romantisch und idylisch. Die atemberaubende Aussicht macht alles wieder top!

It is quite a good value place to stay. The room was quite large and good. The breakfast wasn't much. I wanted to leave some items at the guest house because i went off for a few days, but they refused to put them in a secure place so forced me to pay for 2 nights extra to keep the items in my room.

Good value for your money

It's not fancy and the decor is painfully in need of an update, but for around $25 USD I was not at all uncomfortable. The view from the balconies is lovely, as is the breeze of the water in the evening. It's an easy walk to the few restaurants in town. Reception made arrangements for a taxi to take me to the airport in the middle of the night and all went exactly as planned. You can't ask for more than that for this very low price.

Petit déjeuner sommaire et tardif (pas avant 8h...), Pas de possibilité de nettoyer les vêtements, et si on veut repasser quelque chose, on va chez la gérante et elle nous laisse la table a repasser. Bref, service au strict minimum, mais le tarif va avec.
