This property has it all. It was a pleasure to stay. If you’re not from a big city, the sound of the local transportation, trams, buses and sirens can be noisy but I’m used to this so it wasn’t a bother.

Loved this place

This place is over the top nice and very well put together. Great location for it to be in, and other than us driving around the building 4 times because we couldn’t “exactly” find it, it was awesome. The guy was very friendly and made sure to welcome us into his hotel/apartment. The floors are heated so once your feet hit the ground they accommodated you. Very clean and would definitely stay again.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war super! Leider ist das Airbnb jedoch sehr verwohnt und an einigen Stellen müsste man einfach Reparaturen durchführen. Leider kein Luxus Appartment.

Nicht 3 sondern 2 Schlafzimmer, einige Mängel

Wie auch schon andere vorher beschrieben haben, gibt es einen sehr großen Unterschied zwischen den Fotos in der Beschreibung und der Wirklichkeit. Aber von vorne: Check in war super, rasche Antwort und es gab auch eine Lösung für unseren Check- in nach 22 Uhr. Die Unterkunft ist zentral, Parkplatz vor der Haustür oder wegen Parkschein- Region tagsüber im Parkhaus um die Ecke. Die Wohnung ist individuell geschnitten, renoviert aber schon wieder recht verwohnt. Schönes Bad mit Dusche und separates WC, modern und sauber. Genug Handtücher aber Aufhängung für Duschkopf abgebrochen, keine Ablage in der Dusche wie auf Fotos. Deko in der Wohnung nur teilweise wie auf Fotos, Küche ohne Dunstabzug stattdessen großes Loch in Decke, Kühlschrank neu aber die Verblendung passt nicht. Keine Geschirrtücher. Wasserhahn locker, Fernseher im Wohnzimmer hängt gerade noch in der Halterung. Aber richtig gestört hat: es gab kein 3. Schlafzimmer. Das war der Grund dieser Buchung. Das Dritte Schlafzimmer wäre nämlich mit einem Einzelbett im Keller gewesen. Aber weil dort wohl wegen der Feuchtigkeit schon der Putz großflächig von den Wänden fällt, hat man das Bett einfach in eines der beiden anderen Schlafzimmer dazugestellt. Also genug Betten aber in zwei Zimmern. Check- out unkompliziert. Also Wohnung geht, aber in der Beschreibung sollte man doch bitte nicht so dick auftragen, als hätte man das Luxus- Apartment.

Alles in allem war es ein schöner Aufenthalt in Mainz. Leider haben die Bilder des Apartments nicht mit der Realität übereingestimmt. In der Küche ist uns eine Schranktür entgegengefallen. Das Geschirr war zT. dreckig oder hatte Fettspritzer. Einen frischen Spülschwamm gab es ebenfalls nicht. Was wir vorfanden war ein von Dreck strotzender Schwamm, den man nichtmal mit Handschuhen anfassen wollte. Eine Dunstabzugshaube war nicht vorhanden, stattdessen ein blankes Rohr, an das sie angeschlossen werden sollte. Es gab keine Möglichkeit - anders als auf den Bildern beschrieben - sich auf eine Terrasse zu setzten. Stattdessen hätten wir uns in den betonierten Innenhof neben unsere Autos setzen können. Dass der Parkplatz Geld (15 € pro Tag) kostet, wurde ebenfalls erst nach Eintreffen am Apartment ersichtlich. Insgesamt hat das Apartment einen modernen, aber sehr ungepflegten Eindruck auf uns gemacht.

Die Fotos im Internet zeigen eine Wohnung, die mit viel Liebe eingerichtet wurde. In der Wirklichkeit fehlen viele Accessoires wie z. B. auch die Nespressomaschine und die Toilettenartikel, so dass man allenfalls von einer zweckmäßig eingerichteten Wohnung sprechen kann. Außerdem zeigt die Wohnung, obwohl noch relativ neu, schon hohe Abnutzungserscheinungen. Die Terrasse wurde so geschickt fotografiert, dass wir glaubten, es würde sich um eine Dachterrasse handeln. In Wahrheit liegt sie ebenerdig in einem von Häusern umgebenen Innenhof mit ringsherum parkenden Autos. In der Internetbeschreibung wird von zwei Bädern mit Dusche gesprochen, allerdings ist das zweite Bad lediglich eine Gästetoilette.

Nightmare of a check-in -- literally.

The management -- the check-in procedure, to be particular -- leaves much to be desired. We were traveling with a baby and took particular care to contact the management in advance so that check-in would be smooth. In the end, it was a nightmare. We were lugging along heavy suitcases in the rain in a Mainz January from the station and had a hard time finding the place in the night. They said that they would arrange for shuttle from the station and we were banking on that. We left several messages for them through the hotels.com portal and even hotels.com emailed us that a check-in prior to 10pm would be smooth. This was the first time we were using a non-hotel (that is, no 24/7 front desk)...we repeatedly tried to contact them. In the end, the management said that it was not their responsibility since they did not receive any of the messages. I showed them the messages on the hotels.com portal and also the emails. As a guest, I'm not sure how I'm supposed to better prepare for a check-in. I've never had to call a hotel/property to confirm a booking/check-in procedure. In fact I did try to call them once and the line didn't go through. In any case, I'd stay away from this management.
