"Even though it absolutely is a 5-star place to stay, I prefer that no one knows because it’s so Wonderful to be away from the crowds and tourists!! IYKYK… It’s my home away from home and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I can help it. I recommend checking in after you hit up the grocery store for essentials. Because once you’re there, you’ll probably not want to leave the beach. The sunsets are magnificent!"

"The home was beautiful, and the views are unbeatable. The host responds quickly - usually within 15 minutes. This did feel like a long time, though, when the fire alarm in the house went off after we used the provided hair dryer. (No fire!) We couldn’t turn off the alarm, and the phone number provided was automated and said they’d call back. It was faster to message on VRBO, and they responded in about 12 minutes. Luckily the alarm turned itself off in that time, but it went off again a few minutes later. It was in every room and the exterior of the house, so it was very loud. They had a team member at the house within 15 minutes to check it out which was incredible timing! The power also went out in a small storm during our first day, and it was out for 5 hours. We also had no cell service due to the storm, so we couldn’t notify the host and had to just wait it out. Luckily, when the rain stopped and we waited for the power, the pool was worth using! The A/Cs kept the house very comfortableThe home location is through Waianae. Keep this in mind if you plan to do things on any other portion of the island. It took us 1-2 hours to get anywhere (especially the north shore), so a lot of our trip was spent driving. But the home itself and the neighborhood it’s in is beautiful. After everything, we still recommend this home. But be prepared for the extensive drives if you don’t plan to stay on the west side / Kapolei (which has plenty of stores and restaurants)"

"The property is well kept and clean! Check in instructions came late so we had to park for about 20 minutes until we heard back from the host. The host is responsive and kind. The community feels safe. The only feedback I have is there is not a fan in the bathroom, and the people upstairs were a nightmare. Almost every night at midnight we would be woken up to stomping upstairs. I highly recommend earplugs if you chose to book this place. The beds and pillows are not comfortable. The gated community feels safe but outside the gated community there are a lot of homeless camps along the beach. Its about a 1hr dive to honolulu and a 1 hr drive to north shore. On a good day its about 45 minutes to honolulu. So keep that in mind when deciding to book this place. Other than that the room didnt feel too small for the two of us. I appreciated the kitchen and fridge and the host is very responsive!"

"Everything was perfect! Location, accommodations, pool. Best for relaxing vacation outside of the city. Great for exploring beaches and hiking. The host thought of everything for our stay. I appreciated the yoga mat since I didn’t have room to pack one from home and beach chairs, snorkel gear and water shoes were nice to have. "

"Great houses in a great location. We used the pool and the gym while there and were not disappointed. It is a little bit of a drive(10 min) to get to any shops or restaurants, but the beauty and safety of the gated community wins. The only downside was of the 3 rooms upstairs, 2 had dressers in them but the one I had did not. It was inconvenient to have to keep all of my stuff in my suitcase for the week, but I made it work. The houses were clean and spacious. They had great outdoor space. "

"We stayed with our 7 kids and fit perfectly. The house was clean, the yard was beautiful, the hot tub was nice after a day at the beach. The only thing we wished for was a bigger gathering spot. The patio furniture was nice but needed more of it. Thank you for hosting us, we made some great memories at your house! "
