"Room was clean had a refrigerator but and coffee maker but no microwave. Staff was great when we checked in but we called the office the next morning wanting to stay another night and were told that they were all booked up but when we drove by there 6 hours later the sign said Vacancy."

"We stayed two nights here and were in town for shopping and leisure. The property was clearly an older one that had been updated nicely. Our room had an odour of pets or dirty feet (not sure what the smell was), but we did not complain about it. There were also a ton of fruit flies in the room that were very attracted to our evening beverages. There were some dings and dents in the walls and base boards but the room was super clean. The front desk staff were helpful and even went to the breakfast bar to get some plates for our evening dinner that Panda Express across the street did not provide. Breakfast was decent. Some hot options like eggs, sausage and of course waffles. We were there during the week but there for pleasure and wished the breakfast went until 10 but understand the 9am cutoff during the week. We would stay again if the price remains competitive."

"We had a very enjoyable stay, and the view was definitely the highlight of the property. Our group of ladies gathered for an art retreat, and the beautiful scenery made the experience special.The owner was very communicative and thoughtful, even offering alternatives if wildfire smoke affected our trip. Thankfully the air cleared, but we appreciated the flexibility and concern.A few improvements could elevate the experience. While the home appeared clean overall, some areas, such as the table leaf seams and fireplace mantel decor, seemed to need deeper cleaning. The master bed had an incorrectly sized, very worn flat sheet that tore while making the bed, though replacement linens were available.The kitchen was well stocked, but most cabinet and refrigerator space was occupied by owner items and food, leaving limited room for guests staying a week or longer. The owner's generosity in allowing guests to use supplies was appreciated, but it can be difficult for groups to track what should be replaced. Dedicated storage for owner items would free up more space for guests.One minor point of confusion was the mention of a hot tub in the listing, which we were unable to locate and may have misunderstood.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and especially appreciated the view and responsive owner. With a few housekeeping and storage improvements, this property could easily earn an even higher rating."
