"This hotel was great! I had a few days in Chania and I wanted more time there and more time at the hotel.
The front desk was great and connected me to a beach experience and food/tasting experience both of which were great!
The hotel was quiet (perfect for me) and it was close to a bus stop and grocery store.
I hope to return soon."

"Our suite had an amazing balcony with a sea view, ideal for watching the sun rise and relaxing in late afternoon. Daily room service and new towels were great and the breakfast selection was amazing. Would highly recommend!"

"Property owners were very easy to communicate with and they responded very quickly when we needed their help. Location was amazing and close to walk into old town. Parking was a few minutes away and really handy to have when it’s hard to find free street parking. The place we got was three levels. Kitchen was fully stocked and a nice touch providing juice, milk, coffee, tea and cereal. Breakfast was included, and you walk across the street where they provide you with croissant, half sandwich...

"The hotel is very nice and clean. Staff very helpful and breakfast was good quality. My mian proble is with the room layout that is weird and has its problems like the bathroom light that is a motion sensor and is very prone to shutting down."
"Excellente localisation, très sécuritaire, à distance de marche de tout ce qu’il y a à voir à Chania.
Personnel très aimable et souriant. Les chambres sont magnifiques et dotées de la technologie la plus récente.
Le petit déjeuner est excellent et très complet.
Hôtel à recommander sans hésiter."
"This is a beautiful resort! Amazed how big the room is and with the view from the balcony. Spent a lot of time out there listening to the waves.
The staff is friendly and very helpful. And it’s in a great location to Old Town. I will definitely go back!"
"This was our second visit to Atlantica Amalthia. Very nice hotel. Everywhere was very clean, our room was a good size (we had a room in the building on the beach side) with nice balcony. Nice bar and restaurant. Breakfast room was nice and good choice of food.
Very well kept beach.
All of the staff were first class. So friendly, polite and extremely helpful.
Visited the spa and had two massages during my stay and both were very nice and relaxing. Definitely recommend. Reasonable price.
Didn't use the pool as it got busy very quickly. Sunbeds were very close together and not positioned well that you could get the sun all day. Whilst I enjoy swimming in a pool, we chose to stay on the beach each day.
Good location with plenty of restaurants nearby. Recommend Sebastien next door.
Absolute gem of a hotel and would definitely recommend it."

8/10 Good
"The overall experience was good. The staff were very helpful and attentive. There was a bad smell in the first room we checked into, but they changed our room the next day, and the new room was much better. The housekeeping team also did a great job. The food and service at Zamana Restaurant were amazing as well.
I have stayed at many five-star hotels around the world, and I would say the service here is definitely five-star. However, based on the condition and quality of the rooms, I wouldn’t consider the hotel itself to be at a five-star level."
"Clean room with fairly powerful hair dryer but is stuck in bathroom. Beds comfortable and air conditioned. Good size fridge and safe. Triple room didn't provide enough chairs on balcony or enough hangers in wardrobe when we were booked as a 3 occupancy, but on asking we were provided with extras at no cost or issue and promptly.
Swimming pools x 2 big, clean but very cold. fairly comfortable loungers with umbrellas and clean towels provided daily but pool doesn't open early enough in my opinion 10am-6pm only. Plenty of restaurants to choose from but didn't try food but noted to be good. Good selection of well made cocktails and delicious ice cream milkshakes. Small mini market shop on site good for water and snacks. Staff friendly and helpful especially front desk. Indoor spa pool ok size, but pool not very warm and not many beds. Good neck shoulder back massage and you get 45min use of sauna and steam room with spa treatments only either before or after the treatment. Showers available to use in this area useful for check out day. Free sun loungers on small section of beach attached to hotel with good bar facilities. Breakfast buffet large selection cooked and cold options and restocked frequently so felt fresh with hot plates available. Some lovely complimentary snacks, wine, water and ala carte breakfast provided. 1 day of power cut to local area but we were warned and back up generator meant no issues other than noise if directly by the generator. Nice relaxing stay"

10/10 Excellent
"A quirky little hotel in the middle of old town Chania. We had an enormous two bedroom master suite with 2 bedrooms and a great outdoor bar area where we could sit and watch life go by in the old harbour and out to sea. The place was very clean and the staff very helpful - bringing our luggage from the taxi to the hotel and to the taxi at the end of the stay (the hotel cannot be reached directly by taxi. Breakfast was again quite quirky with all sorts of little goodies and a healthy cooked breakfast. The lighting was a bit complicated in the room and it was quite dark in the bedrooms but otherwise a perfect stay. We would highly recommend this place."
