Woodlands #3: 2BR/Loft/2BA Sleeps 8 Beautiful Mountain Retreat, Winter & Summer

This unit is centrally located only minutes from Old Mammoth, nestled against part of Sierra Star Golf Course. A short walk across the street takes you to the Shuttle Stop. The shuttle connects you to all of Mammoth.
The shuttle provides services to the Village (with Gondola service to Canyon Lodge), or the Main Lodge for skiing and snowboarding, hiking or mountain biking. In addition, Juniper Springs Resort is a mile away.
This is a three-level town home with the entrance on the first floor and sleeps up to 8. Entry level: Master bedroom has a California King bed with private vanity and sink area, shared bathroom and the second bedroom has a queen bed. Second level: Open living room, dining area and kitchen with a second bathroom/shower. The living area has two (2) sofas and two (2) relaxing chairs. The third floor is the loft (with a bunk bed and a queen sofa bed).
This unit has a balcony and approximately 1500 sq. ft. of living space. The living room has a nice wall mounted flat screen 46-inch television and a DVD player. In addition, the unit includes a BOSE Soundtouch 10 speaker that allows guests to listen to their music through their smartphone. There are also TVs in the master bedroom and loft.
This property has some beautiful remodeled features. The kitchen has beautiful granite counters, updated appliances and modern fixtures. The second floor living area has new wood floors, beautiful new and improved lighting and new ceiling fans and blinds.
Internet is provided as a complimentary amenity.
The unit includes a wood burning fireplace and electric wall heaters
There are two outside parking spaces available, spa, seasonal/ summer swimming pool, and a sauna.

Let It Snow

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It had all the amenities we needed. The location to the mountain was super close and right on the red line bus route. Our trip ended with an unexpected snowfall, so we couldn’t ask for more.

Great stay in Mammoth

We had a great winter stay in this Mammoth townhouse. There is lots of space inside for a family to spread out, and it’s nice to have a wood burning stove. The property is located in town close to restaurants, grocery stores, and other shops. We drove to the lodge to ski, but there also is shuttle service to the slopes that picks up nearby. The host was quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Great location & comfortable accommodations

The house is within walking distance of grocery stores and other shops, and is fully furnished with everything a large family could need for lodging, cooking, and entertaining during a skiing vacation.

Clean, easy access to free shuttle, easy check in/out

Great location to Red Line shuttle, Condo was clean and well appointed. Everything in good working condition. Owner is helpful. Parking is outside first come first served. Had no issues parking right in front of condo for the entire duration of stay (4 nights). We are a family of four with two teens, there was plenty of space for us. If the kids each brought a friend the unit could easily accommodate 6. Great for families, highly recommend staying.

Quiet and comfortable place in Mammoth Lakes

Very nice and spacious living area. Beds and pillows were on the firm side, but that's a personal preference. We haven't used the fireplace but it's a nice option to have a real wood-fired fireplace in the winter. Neighborhood is nice and quiet. Convenient ski locker on the ground level for easy loading/unloading to the car. Few minutes to Mammoth Mountain by car or shuttle.

Excellent Mammoth Rental

This condo was a great rental for out family of 4. Mark was a very proactive host and made sure we had everything we needed at check-in and was responsive throughout the stay. The place was clean, roomy, and had everything we needed for a ski vacation.

Very nice stay!

We had a very nice stay at this property. Homeowner was easy to communicate with and the condo was as advertised. Kitchen was well stocked, wifi was good, and TV in the family room was great for watching the final 4. All in all, a great weekend.

Great Stay

We love these units and this one was great. Very clean and nice decor. Great communication with owner. Would definitely stay again. Don't recommend for older guests as the wood floor is slippery.

Great Value

Great place. The condo has a lot of space and a good layout for larger groups. We enjoyed using the hot tub and sauna on the property too. Would love to stay here again.

Amazing property and stay!

Location was great, the unit was extremely clean, updated, and very nicely decorated. Parking was right out the front door. Communication before and throughout our stay was perfect. The ski locker was great to store our stuff. The kitchen and living room areas were large and very accommodating. The kids loved the loft with the sofa bed and bunk beds. Could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you.

Fun Times at the Woodlands

Unit 3 was all that was expected. We had a large family reunion that week and so we had dinner a few nights around the pool area. The unit's locale near the pool was very convenient. The new 65" TV in the living room was an excellent addition and it got a workout because we got thunderstorms every afternoon, negating outdoor activity. The kitchen was adequately stocked with the exception of utensils. The unit sleeps 8 and there were only 6 forks. Further there were no table/soup spoons ... difficult to eat soup with a teaspoon! However, there was an abundant supply of Kleenex this year! All in all, great time was spent in Unit 3. Think this is one of the larger units in the complex. Thanks, Mark.

Wonderful stay at spacious condo

Pros: King bed most comfortable I have slept in on any rental. Queen bed was rated comfortable by my brother. Kitchen was spacious and well laid out. We cooked all of our meals and had all of the necessary cooking gear except a salad spinner that we brought with us. Unit was very clean and host graciously allowed us to check in early once it had been cleaned from the previous renter. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Digital lock on front door did not require a key, which was very convenient. Ceiling fans were very quiet. Cons: Bunk beds in loft were very uncomfortable for an adult as there was no padding and the springs could be felt. Some bedroom windows face Azimuth Street which was noisy some nights. This was only a problem for the loft as the windows needed to remain open to adequately cool it. Oven broiler did not work. However, we just substituted garlic toast for garlic bread which was almost as good. Difficulty opening some windows to cool the place off. Note that this is common to other units in The woodlands complex and probably to other properties in mammoth. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider renting this unit in the future.

Open and bright

Our stay was very enjoyable! Mark is great, accessible and easy to communicate with. Mark followed up to ensure we had everything needed. The place was open, bright and updated. Will be returning for our annual family trip next year!

Perfect Vaca

Wonderful experience, place is bigger then it looks. My family had a great time staying here, bonus that the Red Bus line stops right on the corner to bring you up to the main lodge and the village. Watching the sun rise through the giant windows was breathtaking.
