Check in was smooth and quick, parking is expensive and limited! The room (two doubles) was dark and looked dusty and definitely is in need of an upgrade. V low ceiling with beams which was a hazard and we were worried about banging our head. Bathroom is clean and has been updated. Breakfast great, staff superb.

We had a room overlooking the River which was very nice. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection and tasty. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff were very helpful and friendly my only gripe was that they only had a single coffee machine for breakfast and the plates and breakfast food was slow to arrive when slightly busy.

All was good , however we were put in a accessible room , which when not required as able bodied , and if available feel we should have been put in a standard room as it gives minor problems for example mirrors to low in bathroom , This did not detract from a nice weekend , clean room , good breakfast , excellent check in , and nice bar errs

The property was beautiful and our room was so nice. We had a Family room which gave us two double beds (very cozy) and a large area of space in the room. Very clean. The restaurant had delicious food, Very accommodating for vegetarians and vegans. The breakfast was very nice. Not a lot of selection for veg or vegan but some choices. The staff was amazing everywhere. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

Liked closeness to venue where we were seeing a show. Reception staff pleasant and helpful and decor was tasteful. The room was clean and beds/pillows very comfy. Could be better if windows on exterior cleaned more regularly ours was extremely filthy. Wasn’t pleasant to look out of so we kept curtains closed. Also given next to a large venue was surprised the bar didn’t stay open to accommodate guests wanting a drink after the show. It closed at 10.00pm which I consider quite early.

Stayed 1 night with family , room & bathroom could do with some TLC , exposed old beams & brickwork a great feature ( shame whoever painted the supporting pole didn’t use tape to protect the woodwork) We stayed room 119 , very quiet no noise from either side. Good location , managed to park in hotel car park , £23.00 a bit steep considering you have paid to stay at hotel. But better than than parking at NCP across the road for £30.00 I suppose.
