Elegant, spacious 5BR/4BA private beachfront home on Lake Michigan, sleeps 8. Chef’s kitchen, 2 kings w/ensuite baths; including in-law apt. w/ full kitchen. Deck, alfresco dining, bbq, office, WiFi, laundry, central AC & SmartTVs. This 3,500 - 4,000 sq ft lakefront home, mins from historic downtown Manistee, offers maritime ambiance/sunset views. A paradise for families/multi-family, boating/fishing enthusiasts, outdoorsy folks & long weekenders.
Living:
The bright, airy living room has vaulted ceilings, plush furnishings, a gas fireplace, SmartTV, beautiful built-ins, and extraordinary vistas overlooking the crystal-blue lake. The sunroom has vaulted shiplap ceilings and 270-degree water views. Office has a work desk, computer & futon.
Kitchen/Dining:
Enjoy stainless appliances, hardwood floors, pecan-hued cabinets & warm-tone granite countertops, complemented by cobalt walls & white trim. An island offers breakfast bar seating for three. Open design makes entertaining a breeze! A chef is never isolated. A dining table seats six. Sliding glass doors to the deck bring the views in. Gather for meals; grill fresh whitefish, sample local wines or cheeses, bake with cherries from local orchards. Make memories!
Bedrooms/Baths:
Main floor primary has deck access; upstairs primary/in-law apt. has a full kitchen & separate access door for privacy from the rest of the home. Two upstairs queen bedrooms include black-out curtains, great for groups with littles. Rhythms of waves will lull you to sleep.

The home is mins from downtown Manistee, with its charming Victorian-era neighborhoods, historic Vogue Theater, and Riverwalk to the North Pier Lighthouse! Drive 12 mins to Little River Casino, 15 miles to Northern Natural Winery or 9 mins to Manistee Country Club for golfing! Outdoor activities abound; boating/fishing/hiking/cycling/x-country skiing! Thousands of acres of Huron-Manistee National Forest offer outdoor adventure.
Spring is fragrant with lilacs & cherry blossoms. Summer has fireflies, crickets, peepers & owls. Listen for sandhill cranes migrating. Nights are dark, stars are bright! Summer is filled with birdsong, milkweed & monarch butterflies. Autumn foliage is spectacular! Apples are crisp, cider mills & vineyards are plentiful. When snow falls, winter quietude is majestic. Snowmobile trails beckon. Northern Lights glisten.

Check in time is after 4:00PM and check out time is before 10:00AM. Please note that we are not able to accommodate early arrivals or late departures from May – September. Any request for additional time will depend on availability of the rental and an additional fee may be added to the stay.
ARRIVAL: There is no formal check-in procedure. Arrival details are sent prior to your check-in date and will include the exact location of the property, parking and entry information. Guests will have a private, secure entrance and the rental is not shared by owners or other guests.
DEPARTURE: We do have a very short checklist we ask renters follow upon departure. It includes making sure the property is left tidy, furniture is in the same place you found it, everything is closed, locked and turned off, and the thermostat is set properly. These items will only take a couple of minutes but help staff immensely.
Please know that all rental policies and house rules are strictly enforced. This includes occupancy limits, age requirements, the ‘no parties’ and ‘no smoking’ clauses or any other rule posted online or within the rental. These are often defined by local ordinances, Homeowner’s Associations or other legal requirements and can result in fines or eviction if violated. We do not provide additional refunds for cancellations, late arrivals or early departures except as required in the posted cancellation policy.
For safety reasons, there may be external security cameras in use. Please contact us if there are any questions or concerns.
