Paradise in Antunes (Casa Amarela)

Our property is site on the beach of Antunes, rural area of the municipality of Maragogi (AL). The area is 50 meters wide and two kilometers long. There are many native fruit and fauna, such as the monkey marmosets. The beach is without waves, shallow, protected by the second largest barrier reef in the world, with the warm and crystalline waters that give the place the reputation of being the "Brazilian Caribbean". This is the ideal place to connect with nature and enjoy the sound of the waves and coconut straws.
The site is ideal for those who seek direct contact with nature.
The suites and balcony of the house are facing the sea, the house is surrounded by coconut trees, pitangueiras, papaya trees, in a meeting of a stream with the sea. There are monkeys (marmosets) and you can hear them wise and well-known. At night, it is possible to contemplate the sky sharply and comfortably from the balcony or on the beach.
The house on our site in Praia de Antunes, a rural area of the municipality of Maragogi (about 120 km from Maceió), was built to be the private paradise of our family in the early 1980s. The site is 50 meters wide and 2,000 meters long. The house is located on the most enchanting seashore in Maragogi, at the junction of a stream lined by native mangrove trees, surrounded by coconut trees and fruit trees (pitangueiras, cashew trees, mango trees, jabuticaba trees, jackals, breadfruit and araçá , sugar canes and holy grass - to make tea), inhabited by species of native fauna, such as birds (well-te-vi, hummingbirds, sabiás, woodpeckers, anus, kingfishers and catfishes ) and little monkeys (like the marmosets). The beach is protected by the world's second largest barrier reef (located about 1 kilometer and can be visited walking at low tide. There are natural pools, temporary sand beaches and various marine species that can be observed with diving masks). The sea is without waves, with warm waters
The architectural design of the house is our own. Rented with furniture, it contains 4 suites and a bedroom with bathroom (in the laundry area). It comfortably seats 12 people. Two suites have a double bed; one has a single bed and a bunk bed with two single beds; and the other has four single beds and a rollaway bed. The bedroom at the back of the house has two single beds. All rooms have ceiling fans. All suites have windows overlooking the ocean. There is full bed, table and bath linen available. The kitchen is large, light and airy (with utensils such as pans, dishes, glasses and cutlery, stove with six burners, a refrigerator, a large freezer, table and pantry). There is also a three room dining room with ten seats, two sofas, a lounger and a table with four seats for board games or board games. The whole house has cobogos near the ceiling in order to leave it well ventilated. Outside there is a U-shaped balcony with a barbecue, spaces to arm up to 5 hammocks, and a round glass table with space to accommodate about 7 people. There is also, behind the house, a shower with a powerful water outlet to get salt and sand from the beach, and renew the energies. In addition to the natural beauties of the day, the nights are beautiful and starry, especially during the summer months, and enjoying them from the balcony or on the beach is unforgettable, particularly the reflection of light in the sea, and the water remains warm at night, the invite to night baths. The sea will often fill and dry quite a bit. Thus, the landscape changes significantly during the days.

You will be welcomed by Wanderlan (or Wan), our caretaker, and his wife. Wan arrived in Maragogi child and grew up on the site. He knows the region very well and enjoys sharing what he knows with visitors. His wife can provide cleaning services to be combined with her upon arrival. The site is three kilometers from the village of Barra Grande, and 7 kilometers from the Municipality of São José da Coroa Grande (in the state of Pernambuco). In both places there are restaurants and tourist attractions. The edge of Barra Grande is pleasant and always busy. We are always available for any clarification.
