My wife and I truly enjoyed this resort. The staff were very accommodating and made us feel right at home.We were free to be alone on the property or mix with others. Marathon was right in the middle of the Florida Keys and just what we expected and more. We visited Key West on one day and Islamorada and ran a Cat Boat around the local waters and mangroves. The Resort Bar was always there with sight of our Ocean Front Balcony. Thanks!!!!!

Rooms were very well kept. Clean, full of towels, shower worked well. Overall rooms were great. Smaller pools were a little warm but it was September. Large pool was fantastic. Eric kept the cold ones coming and was very friendly. Grounds were very clean and everyone that worked there was very helpful. Overall experience was a 10.

Beautiful place to honeymoon. Would definitely come back! Ocean front room & sunsets right on the beach each night. Overall excellent for truly relaxing and taking time off. Food was decent, (prepare for everything to be expensive) not just at the resort, and plan a good budget for food & drink expenses. We rented a car for the week & it was the BEST choice ever, especially if you want to do more than lay around and drink. Highly recommend the Aquarium encounters, Mermaid Marina snorkeling and sunset cruise through the activities desk! Was a little underwhelmed with 2 of the 3 pools.
