Christmas week at Marco Island,Florida

From unloking of the door first evening till the last sight of the ocean viewed from the balcony of the apartment our experience was going smoothly, in this cozy apartment with familial atmosphere, with a well maintained kitchen , a beautiful dining and livingroom! Kayaking

This property is perfect for kayaking. Ramp on the property for getting into the water is perfect. Also right next door to the ramp at Caxambas Park.

Ok...not great

The location of this rental was convenient to what we were wanting to do which was to kayak. However, when we arrived we found out from the manager of the condo site that only owners were allowed to have a kayak on the premises. The owner was aware that we were bringing kayaks as we asked about parking with them on our racks. The manager accommodated us thank goodness. The carpets in this condo were extremely stained. The dishwasher did not work the entire week so my wife washed dishes all week. My wife enjoys cooking while we are on vacation and there were no hot mats so we had to go out and purchase these. Additionally, there were only TWO washcloths there to use even though this condo supposedly accommodates 6 people. We had to also go out and buy more washcloths. Many of the lamps in the condo either didnt work or were too sketchy for us to even try to turn on. The things we did enjoy, other than the location, were the large shower and the oven was very nice. Overall, we had a good time being together and kayaking but was very disappointed in the rental. It is very dated and needs some major work done.

Beautiful quiet location

We loved Marco Island 🏝 The location of the condo was great.10 minutes walk to the South beach public access. There is a public parking with restrooms and drinking/bottle refil water sration. The parking space is small and filles up before 9am. The parking is $10 a day from 8am to midnight. The condo it self has grwat layout and comfortable beds. We spent a lot of time eating our meals on a screened lanai looking on a gourgeous water view of canal and sandy beach frother out. Loved it!!! Tge condo is a little outdated. Carpets needing a deep cleaning.Lots of stains all over. Also, there us no plastic containers, just 2 small ones and no cooler , which was surprising . All beach equipment needs to be replaced as it is all rusted and warned out after last hurricane flooding. Theneach stuff located in the shed area at the parking lot.We cooked at condo exept a couple of times. We went to Publix and Wal-Mart located after the 2nd bridge on the way from island. Overall our stay was pleasant and relaxing. We definitely will be back. Thank you. Tatiana and Scott.

Awesome view

Never get tired of the view from this property. Had a water pipe break from the apartment above. The property VP for the association made sure he fixed the leak the next day. Property was very clean and had a few great pools and had tennis courts. I had an awesome time at the condo.

Marco island

Overall property is very nice plenty of room. Nice view to the ocean from the living room and balcony. The property overall has pickle ball, tennis, swimming pool. The only thing I could say is that would be wrong would be you need a little bit bigger TVs, but I spent more time walking the beach very close, less of a mile walk to the beach.

Great condo great stay

The property was exactly as represented! The property is nice the views superb. Very quiet and everyone I saw was nice. Very clean and well appointed. I would definitely stay again.

The property is in a quiet location and is ok. However, there are some things that should be addressed. The carpets need a good CLEANING and some cushions on the couch are in need of cleaning or replacement. It is an older condo but with a few updates could be a really neat unit. Enjoyed our stay here.

Like the location

The condo worked well for us. We enjoyed the pool and liked the out of the way location. A bit of a hike to Marco Island South Beach but it is doable.

Overlooking Paradise

I have been coming to Marco for over 40 years,love the Island! The property was in an excellent complex with great views although it could use some updating it worked out fine for us and was a good value, would definitely rent again,The owners were responsive and everything went smooth! Thanks again!

Beautiful location and community!

Loved this community! Warm and friendly owners and residents all around. Pool and location walkable to south beach was perfect! Unit is very dated and needed some basic maintenance attention and updates (sliding doors, ceiling tiles, carpet, beach equipment, furnishings, etc).

Eagle Cay 2022

The Eagle Cay property is very nice. The condo had a nice balcony with a great view. Inside the condo had everything we needed. Owner was nice and responsive to our questions. Would recommend providing details on check in and out process. The condo could use some updates/replacement - ie mattress bedding. Enjoyed our stay.

Decent deal for the price

Complex was well maintained and organized, with a convenient assigned parking spot. Unit is on first level above the parking garage. As noted in other reviews, the condo furnishings are a bit dated. I was unable to get the dishwasher to work and Main TV is a bit small. Although on the water, it is a short hike to the beach. Could walk to one restaurant/bar on the beach, but need a car to get to most restaurants, groceries and shops.

Disappointment to Total Satisfaction

Upon arrival, property had not been cleaned. I had to contract with a local service. Spent 1st night in motel, as cleaning was scheduled for next morning. I had to pay out-of-pocket for property cleaning and motel. Frustrating experience. Not a good way to start a vacation! Contacted VRBO about this after vacation. Reimbursement of above expenses within 3 days. Fast and totally satisfactory action taken by VRBO. Except for this glitch, a very cozy and comfortable property. Excellent location overlooking Gulf of Mexico, marina and "10,000 Islands". Would definitely stay at this property again.
