Cottage 173 - Clifden

Cottage 173 - Clifden

8/10 Good
"The landlord was excellent in terms of communication and helpfulness. The beds and pillows were comfy and the house well equipped with things you may need. However the hot water ran out as we were getting ready for the wedding leaving a few of us having cold showers as the immersion heater did not appear to be working - 3 short showers max but 7 people. The bedding and towels were clean but not fresh and smelled long used. The shower tiles and surrounds were very dirty, the lights had dead things in them, the carpets were stained and there were cobwebs all around. A lovely place and communicative landlord but house not clean which was disappointing. We were there for 2 busy days and nights and did not have time to complain while there but it needs a thorough deep clean. I would only recommend this property because of its location and it is not super expensive but be prepared for the things I have mentioned."
