"The hotel was clean and the central AC was awesome! I was able to get a person while doing my check in but not always is someone there. Overall it is a good hotel and very close to the train station so convenient for traveling."

"Overall a pleasant stay. Best for couples since bathroom is open with a swing door between the toilet and shower so you can close one or the other but not both. Black stone sink has a tilt (not a regular design but with a flat edge at the bottom) so water never drains completely. I booked the hotel for the pool and hot tub, only to find that it is available from 8 - 9:30 am or 1.5 hours in the morning (with kids) without a fee (20 euros per day for the spa that includes the pool and hot tub) and when you are allowed to swim with a bathing suit on. Unfortunately, I am not ready to swim naked at a coed space. I had a massage at the spa and it was wonderful. Tried to book another appointment with my daughter and the front desk made a mistake telling me the time in English but wrote down the time an hour earlier in the system. Very stressful when we found out that we were late. They did NOT apologize and blamed me for not checking the email (which was hard for me to do while going to activities). We had said the time at least twice the night before when we booked in person (repeated twice so I was confident about the scheduled time). They did agree to reschedule- got a card with hand written confirmation this time. The hotel is located in a two tower building with a bridge inside. reception on 12 floor, take the elevator down to 10, walk thru the bridge to the other tower, then elevator to your floor. Tricky. 4 stars because of the value and convenience of the location."

"Clean, well -run, loved the quirky decor. Although it"s on a busy little street with bars and "coffee shops" and there can be noise at night, it"s very secure (four automatically locking doors between our studio and the street). Central and close to the station. You can easily do day trips all over the Randstad. The staff are very nice. Don't worry about arriving when reception is shut, the digital keys work."
Beautiful first and second floor apartment in historic Leiden

"Apartment is clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Host is communicative and helpful. Location is excellent - close to old city, shops, and transportation without being too noisy. A few minor notes:- Listing is ambiguous about the ground floor space (pictured as "living area"); this isn't part of the apartment. Not really a problem but listing should be clear.- In typical Dutch fashion: Spiral stairs (from ground to 1st and 1st to 2nd) are steep and can be difficult to navigate. Only toilet is on 1st floor while bedrooms and bath/shower on second floor. - We stayed during an unusual heat wave and second floor was sometimes very warm. In normal conditions it would be fine.Overall a nice place and good value. Would stay again."
