Rydges Resort Hunter Valley

"We stayed two nights in a three-bedroom villa with two young kids and their grandparents. We are sensitive to cleaning chemicals but none of us had any reaction, no smell, so we could fully relax at the villa. The waterpark and the bigger pool were amazing, entertained our kids all the time, literally almost all day. We could spot some warrabies in the property, which was a good bonus. The breakfast buffet was also great, especially the egg kitchen. No salad at the time I stayed but a good variety of fresh juices and fruits. Only my disappointment was that some tissues floated in the “adult only” pool, and it was not cleared on the next day also…"

"This was the perfect little getaway. A beautiful little cottage out of the way of the hustle and bustle of city and noise but close enough to wineries and all that the Hunter Valley has to offer. Lovely large room with decent sized kitchenette. I would highly recommend if you just want to get away and relax for the weekend"

"An aging property that leans on its Brewery and Restsurant. Stayed in a 2 bedroom and it was nothing more than a cabin. Animals were there but hardly a farm. Plenty to do during day around the property-just got to book it all in. Staff were very helpful with everything we asked."

"We had a pleasant time in Mercure Hunter valley . It is very close to Hunter valley gardens, and village. Excellent location walking distance to places to eat and enjoy coffee etc. Our room had a great view towards the lake and vineyard. Easy parking spot right in front of room area."
