"Superb place. Rooms cleaned daily. All staff were kind, polite, friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast buffet. Spoilt for choice in the restaurants all of which are excellent. All the pools were amazing. Beautiful secluded sandy beach. Couldn’t fault this place."

"Really well maintained and clean - I would give a 4.5* rating. We really liked it but there were a couple of negatives which prevented giving a 5*. Really quiet and peaceful on evenings and rooms very well sound proofed from the noise and the rooms were huge!! The kitchen and bathrooms were lovely. No complaints at all on the rooms. The pool area was lovely and could usually get a bed if needed, but will never be too far from your room. Only a ten minute walk down the hill to a brilliant beach. About a 3 minute drive to a big intermarche supermarket which has freshly baked bread and pastries and all the food and drink you could need for your stay. Easy driving distance of lots of beaches and attractions so a fantastic base. Dishwasher and washing machine in rooms. We would stay again. The main negative is around the indoor pool. Whilst there are signs saying the indoor pool is for relaxation and the jacuzzi is not for under 12s, many younger children run around and jump in it. If pointed out we were made uncomfortable to want to go in the jacuzzi area whilst children would sit in for excessive amounts of time. If during the day the reception staff member tried to discourage this, but once evening came it became a central area for kids jumping in and out with little to no adult supervision. Only other negative was around the furniture on the balconies. The balconies (plural) were huge but unfortunately quite a bit of bird poo so very difficult to actually sit on the chairs."

"We had a fantastic stay at Casa do Farol and really couldn’t fault it. The villa was absolutely spotless, beautifully presented and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. There was plenty of space for everyone, the beds were really comfortable and the pool area was fabulous — the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine.The location is excellent. There’s a local shop and a few restaurants just a short walk away, which was particularly handy on arrival day as we didn't arrive until late. Carvoeiro is around a 35-minute walk from the villa and is a lovely town with plenty of restaurants, bars and beautiful views.One of our favourite places was the Algar Seco restaurant and beach bar — the food was fabulous and the views were absolutely stunning. We also highly recommend the Lighthouse Bar and Grill, which is just a short walk from the villa and is a real must-visit.Casa do Farol was the perfect base for exploring the area, while also giving us a lovely, peaceful place to relax. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already booked to come back twice next year — in June and September!We’re already looking forward to returning and would happily recommend Casa do Farol to anyone looking for a beautiful villa in a great location."

"Clean rooms, staff were excellent and I would like to mention some of the names who provided above and beyond services Amelia, Alina from the reception. Tiago from the security. The dining staff in all the areas of the resort were so kind and helpful. Especially, Agueda who went out of her way to make sure my request for a certain type of diet was fulfilled. I highly recommend this resort for families and also for the solo travelers."
Superb villa for 10 people, sea and country views

"We had a lovely stay A car would be ideal for supermarket runs etc. nearby coves only a short ride away and we used Ubers for going out in the evening in Carvoeiro. Pool is great with undisturbed views. We stayed in a few nights and had a takeaway as well as a BBQ. Only small negatives were the downstairs bedroom and games room were musty initially but improved after the doors were opened. There were a couple of sun beds that ideally it would’ve been nice if they’d been replaced."
