There is a lovely garden with decking and garden furniture where you can enjoy the view towards open fields. A gate leads into the owner’s garden which you are welcome to use. It is ideal for a relaxing break or as a touring base as there is so much to see and do in the surrounding area, from sightseeing in nearby Lincoln with its cathedral and castle, to enjoying a lovely meal at one of the many local cafés and restaurants. The owner offers picnic lunches and afternoon tea by arrangement which is payable locally.

The Lincolnshire Wolds offers many country pubs in small villages and quiet towns, such as Louth and Horncastle and is only a short drive away from Market Rasen Racecourse. The traditional seaside resort and beach at Skegness is less than an hour’s drive, and offers a lovely day out with miles of sandy beaches to walk along. Ocean Walker Academy wild swimming and wellness centre is half a mile away. Shop, pub and restaurant 3½ miles.
