"Kalamis Marina Hotel is a great choice. It is located close to the sea promenade and a park. I loved walking there and feed the kitties:).From the hotel room you can hear sea-gulfs-which I loved. There are many grocery stores and restaurants close by althouh Kalamis restaurant menu is great - I ordered several times breakfast which was delicious.The personnel is very kind and helpful. I fully recommend this hotel."

"Friendly and helpful staff and nice, modern rooms. Very clean. As others have said, location is unusual, seemingly the only hotel in otherwise commercial zone focussed on motorbike stores. But you can walk to the metro station in 5 mins (loads of life there) and from there on to the busy kurdikoy area in another 10-15 mins."

"Great staff is this small hotel in an intriguing neighborhood. If you want to explore the Asian side of Istanbul spend a few days walking the streets of this area. Plenty of cafes, fast and slow restaurants, far enough uphill from the sea to be quiet, but everywhere you look these is something fascinating. Close enough to atms and a range of retail shops. The room was tasteful and looked out on a shed whose roof was home to several cats. Some complimentary biscuits to have with coffee or...

Our hotel room #104 was large, modern and very comfortable, and the hotel is perfectly located in Kadikoy … on a quiet street but close to both the ferry area and the main shopping & restaurant/bar areas of Kadikoy. "We stayed in the standard suite on the first floor, smaller room but it was very clean, organized well and sufficient for two people. Very helpful staff, walking distance to ferry terminal, buses, cabs and the Kadıköy center. If you’re a light sleeper though, city never sleeps so expect some street noise and due to the historical building wood floors, some noise from within. I’d recommend this place for sure."
