We just used the other approach, which was a pleasant street with cafe's. It was very small, so a good home base, but not really a place to do more than sleep. Never quite...

"Bien localisé, propre, bîen aménagé, rue tranquille au cœur du Marais."

"Nice clean 2 bedroom 1 bath apt in le Marais. Close to metro stop and several cafes. Small elevator . Just fine for our 2 night stay."

"We were very pleased with this property. It at had all the amenities you could need, comfortable beds, nice A/C and great water pressure in the shower! We loved the neighborhood, with all its lively cafés and tree lined street. It was exactly as I had imagined our stay in Paris would be. I would highly recommend them."

"No reception; though elevator is very new, it is on 1st floor, which means you need to carry luggage up 1 storey. The room itself is remarkable, functioning AC throughout, 2 toilets and 3 baths for a 2 double beds apartment(and 1 sofa bed), 2 TVs, dining table, cooking space, fridge, kettle and coffee machines, disc player, books, all essential cookwares, wash-dryer, steam iron, excessive hangers, and an extremely detail instruction book on every possible item and recommendation you could think...

"Good location"

"The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The concierge was very helpful with using the metro and restaurants. Several brassieres, shops, pharmacies and grocers were nearby."
