"Clean rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast for 16 dollars. Good location. A little bit of noise because it’s next to the highway, but that also makes it a practical location. I would stay there again."

"Great location for yearly event we go to in the loop. Rooms are clean staff friendly. Parking garage safe."

"The breakfast was fantastic. Property was clean. Staff is awesome"

"Great room and the staff were very attentive."

"This property was very nice. The only reason I did not give 5 stars... The parking is very sparse & I think it is not cool to have overnight guests who are already paying to stay also pay to park. Just add it to the room rate upfront. But that's just me... The other issue(s).... there are two late night bars/clubs right beside this hotel that were very loud all night long. We got in about 12:45am & these places were still rocking well beyond that & the noise came directly into our room...

"Fantastic value for the money. The staff is always friendly and competent. It's one of the best places to stay in the area for the price you pay. Bed is comfy and linens are crisp and clean. Lots to appreciate about this property."

"The property was very clean and a convenient location. The room was also very clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was how loud the highway was. I didn’t get much sleep because of it, but that had nothing to do with the hotel itself. Breakfast was also good."

"The hotel service was absolutely beautiful, and the accommodations were of the highest quality."

"Very nice helpful staff. Very clean and luxurious. I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Houston. If you like luxury The Thompson is the right place."

"Great hotel for the area"
