Great location just outside of town for a reasonable price. Bike path directly across the highway leads into the downtown area - rides along the lake.

Property was decent but pricey for the quality of the facility. Staff was friendly. Heating unit was barely functional, needed due to very cold evenings.

Room was clean. Beds were a little soft but okay. Hate the little kids toilet, getting to old to get on and off such a low toilet. Good shower. Breakfast was tasty. Had to go to antoher building to get ice. Very convenient for us and what we wanted to do in MArquette.

There was a staff shortage, so we couldn’t check in at 2:30 and had to wait until 4:00 PM to get into our room. The staff, however, were very helpful and recommended several good places to eat in the city. The bed has definitely seen better days.

Recently travelling across the U.P. reviewing new nest locations, my wife and I have stayed a few times and have always been pleasantly surprised by the staff with quiet rooms, secure parking, pet friendly and cost effective view of Superior lake some 100 feet away.
