Very friendly staff. The food was good and the evening entertainment was good fun. I was disappointed at the golf club though. Whilst the course itself was a reasonable challenge, the pro shop was poorly stocked with little size options other than small and ladies. The club's I hired were also not premium as advertised, instead they were a mixed bag from different brands and ladies clubs. Plus, they were all at least 15 years old.

Likes:- Staff were all very pleasant and helpful, even if they didn't fully understand you they smiled and nodded, which is what they are paid to do. Head of reception, Corina was very helpful and understanding. Zest Bar was good of an evening if you didn't like entertainment, barman Kemal happy, helpful and funny. Room was fine, overlooking golf course but on ground floor without much of a view. Needed minor attention, shower drainage not coping with water flow causing water to flow into bathroom, housekeeping remedy was to put towels onto wet areas needing extra towels. Bars:- Cheap spirits, tiny measures but served with a smile. Food:- Not to my wife's liking but I will try most things. Some nights fine other nights not so. Main problem was always only warm, like mine hot, might just be an English thing. Chicken wraps served at lunch time were excellent though. Italian Restaurant was very disappointing. Chicken was warm, tough, overcooked, inedible. Vegetables cold. In my opinion the food had been cooked several hours in advance, and warmed up to be served. The service on the other hand was very good, when I complained they didn't make excuses but offered me an alternative which I refused. Good service does not make the food any better. Entertainment:- Not to our liking, Can't say any more without being unkind. Pool:- Very nice, plenty of beds staff as usual very happy and helpful. This is only our view, others will vary. Give it a try you may love it, Good Luck.

A lovely stay and everything we needed. Bit of an unpleasant first impression with security guard deciding whether he would let us in - travelling with my 16 year old and had confirmation that he was welcome but that information apparently never reached the gate. Main Property is beautiful but there is large parts of the hotel grounds which seems to be a building site/abandoned. I see now why they offer to drive you to gym/spa/indoor pool area! It was clearly a huge resort in previous times. Our hotel room was beautiful and two large single beds and a pool view was perfect! We both slept v well. Pools were lovely but the entertainment and the music can be loud at the main pool, we preferred the quieter pool. Hadn’t appreciated how much entertainment there was and it’s not something that bothers us but everyone seem to enjoy it! Food in buffet was excellent and always something delicious to eat - we didn’t bother to eat at à la carte restaurants which are a bus ride away but didn’t hear anything too positive about them anyway. Staff were fantastic, always friendly and helpful!

Fantastic hotel, with all the necessities. The personell was nice and always helpful, huge buffet with every kind of food you need. Entertainment that varied each night. A café with good opening hours. The room was a good size and clean. The only thing to put a finger on I think was the bathroom. I would never design it that way, not very practical. There is no wall in to the bedroom, only blinds. So you can imagine you share all your bathroom noice with anyone you are staying with. The muslim shower was on the wrong side(left), not practical at all. Only one peg in the bathroom, so where should you hang all your clothes? The indoor swimming pool (depth 1,5 m), the fitness senter and the spa is in a separate building, accessible (only) with a golf cart. The outdoor swimming pools are 1,4 m and 1,1 m (next to loud music ). The environment is nice, international public. We saw several elderly people, and hijabis. Everyone is included. All in all a very successful stay. We enjoyed:). This hotel is easily recommended!

Avoid this hotel, like your life depended on it. Service is horrible. The ac in the room was broken, took them nearly 5 hours to move us to a different room. No food or drinks are available once buffet is over. Food has no taste. Its also far from everything. One positive is that they do have a shuttle to the suk.

A Solid 4-Star Experience (But Manage Your 5-Star Expectations) Stay: February 2026 | Resort: Pickalbatros Hotel du Golf Let me start by clarifying the rating: this resort is advertised as a 5-star property. If you are expecting the luxury level of a Four Seasons, Fairmont, or Le Méridien, you will be disappointed. I would realistically rank it as a high 3-star or a solid 4-star. That being said, if you adjust your expectations, it is still a very decent resort and we had a pleasant stay overall. Here is the breakdown of my experience: The Property & Rooms • Clean and Modern: The public areas and rooms are fairly modern, well-maintained, and very clean. My bedroom was well-appointed and comfortable. • Room Amenities: While daily tea and bottled water were always provided, I would have really appreciated an ironing board and a coffee maker in the room. The bedrooms have fairly thick doors so the rooms are really quiet at night. • No Construction: I noticed some previous reviews mentioned ongoing construction, but I am happy to report that I didn’t see or hear any construction noise during my stay. Food & Drinks • Great Buffet: The various buffets are a highlight, providing a fairly large selection. They feature outdoor grilling and tagines, a pasta station, and many other options. • Mediterranean Restaurant Quirk: We made a reservation at the Mediterranean restaurant (a short shuttle drive from the main hotel). Nice hotel, nice pool areas. The room was great, although didn't have an iron. One was provided after asking a few times. Staff mainly friendly, with a couple of exceptions. Where the stay fell down in expectations was the food. I have a few allergies which I emailed the hotel about when we booked the trip. However the restaurant seemed clueless about it. I told them I am allergic to gluten, and they told me that everything had gluten in, which wasn't helpful. It was only on the second day that the fantastic Samir came to see me and was very helpful, from them on making sure I had something to eat. That said, there still was very limited options for people with dietary requirements. But I appreciated his efforts, and his friendly service. Another thing to note is that the massages we had at the spa, whilst good, were not for the shy! They do not seem to worry about your state of undress and as the women who work at the spa don't speak much English it wasn't possible to discuss!

Our stay at the hotel was unfortunately disappointing due to a series of issues, particularly with the rooms. We had to change rooms three times. The first room had an old bathtub instead of the Italian shower we had booked, and it was only accessible by walking through an active construction area. The second room was on the first floor next to the security office, which offered no privacy, and the balcony window was broken and couldn’t be opened. The third room was slightly better, but we still struggled to open the balcony door, and the process to get this final room was long and frustrating. We also experienced a water leak in the toilet. Despite requesting help from the front desk, no one came, so we had to shut off the water ourselves. The TV was not a smart TV and didn’t work until we requested a technician, which added to the stress. The food was another low point. It was repetitive, lacked variety, and had little flavor. The Moroccan cuisine, in particular, was poorly prepared and did not reflect the richness of the country’s food culture. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially those in the restaurant, at the pool, in housekeeping, and the entertainment team. Despite the friendly staff, the hotel's room issues, poor maintenance, and bland food make it hard to recommend

Upon arriving at the hotel, we received a warm welcome and were quickly given our room. The hotel staff and the entertainment team were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the hotel was more in line with a 2-star standard than a 5-star one. The glass tables were chipped, and the public toilet by the pool was in a terrible condition. The food was very poor – there were constantly no fries available, and cheese left over from dinner was served again at breakfast, even though it had already melted. Despite our efforts to be careful, we still suffered from food poisoning. After 11:00 p.m., the staff started clearing the tables, making guests feel that it was time to return to their rooms, which we found very impolite. The only major advantage was the large and well-equipped gym. The employees and staff were generally pleasant, but the hotel certainly does not deserve a 5-star rating.

The safe in my room was blocked I couldn’t get it opened to get my stuff out of it . I called the front desk to send technician to open the safe. But the time he finished , I left the room to check out. the manager decided to charge me 1 hour late check out fees. I called Expedia asking help they called the property but they don’t answer.

Everything about our stay was 5 stars! The staff were exceptional, friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. A special thank you to Hiba from Guest Relations and Dora from the Entertainment Team, who truly made our stay unforgettable. If I could give them 6 stars, I absolutely would! They are a real credit to the hotel, and we can’t wait to come back.
