The profile on hotels.com was slightly inaccurate. There is no restaurant or bar, although the daily breakfast was great. The airport pickup is advertised as 200 per room but they actually charge 180 per person.
But overall a lovely place in a perfect location, with great staff
Over priced hotel. No amenities in room and all services over priced. The hotel taxi from the airport was excessive compared to local rates. Pool was tiny and freezing cold. The plus: great location - 3 minute walk to the Jemaa el Fna market and walking distance to many sites - el badii Palace, badiaa, Koutub and great restaurants. And very safe area. Hotel was tucked away in an alley and was very quiet and peaceful at night. Night manager was very accommodating and helpful.
My wife and I had a great time in the Riad and it was great to have a place to go relax and cool between intense visit of the city. The staff is always nice and accommodating, ready to provide guidance/suggestions to visit the city. The Riad is beautiful and we really enjoyed staying at the pool on hot hours or on the roof when temperature were going down.
A good stay in marrackesh y in the hotel apart from the hotel didn't have our reservation when we emailed to check the day before travel. And so on arrival they wanted to overbook us for the last three nights to a downgrade hotel next door which we were not too happy however we went to look to see the option or we could be charged 2 nights stay and book our own accommodation else where, which is not exactly what you should be needing to do on holiday. After a discussion we decided that the other hotel was not an option for us as it was a downgrade paying the original hotel ( not exactly fair) and so I spoke to the owner and said we wanted to stay and so they let us after a few moments of thoughts, and his decision to overbook another family.
At that point we got on with our holiday.
I revised my back account to see if the money had been taken and to see that it still Had not I asked the hotel why... which they didn't really have an answer for. He said to pay by their bank machine in the hotel which I agreed as all was the same price as we originally booked however only mins later revising my account that I was charged the bank rate of an additional 20€, which wouldn't hVe acourred if it had been taken from the moment I made the reservation on the web of hotels.com.
I've booked quite a few hotels now through this web and never had an issue.
Please take my points into concideration.

Peaceful & beautiful riad but hard to find
This riad (as they are called in Morocco) is insidie the Medina/souks area, which means it is not accessible by car. It's located on a narrow street, therefore if getting dropped of by taxi one gets dropped of at the nearest street accessible by car and then you must walk through the market/souks to find it down a narrow alley. Not great if you are carrying heavy luggage. It also does not feel safe late at night, so not great if you're a lone female traveller. Otherwise it is a beautiful riad. It is very peaceful and quiet once inside. Basic amenities. If you want a meal (lunch or dinner) must tell them a day in advance. No snack bar but souks and shops nearby, can go and buy a snack if you speak French or Arabic, or hotel staff can fetch you a bottled drink.
Quiet, very nice place. Children can be noisy
Sounds carry, but room ac takes care of random noise. Breakfast was basic, 3 breads, bit of fruit, delicious coffee, yogurt.
Wonderful experience! I was a sole female traveller and the staff really looked after me well. Organised my transport, guide, helped with advise etc. The hotel is so well located very close to the main square and yet quite. It is an oasis of calm and relaxation. I will be returning for sure.
They went out of their way to make sure we had the best stay possible for the week. Helped us get from the airport, found us places to see, helped coordinate with scheduled tours and more. I would give them 10 stars if I could, very highly recommended.
Zona bastante calma e segura.
