Great location right by the medina, staff really helpful..from meeting us at the taxi and guiding us through the alleys on the first day, to taking us to the hammam, to making mint tea and cake on an afternoon...just lovely. Rooms clean and beautiful. Real mixture of nationalities staying which made breakfast a place for conversation and exchange of stories.(variety of food for all nations)

Our stay was excellent. Karim looked after us very well and even conjured up a kettle and cups for our room so we could make ourselves a drink whenever we wanted and showed us the beautiful roof terrace where we could relax.The room was spotlesslyclean

The room.was spacious and clean with a great view. Bonus... elevator! Checking in was easy with code for the door sent prior to our arrival. The biggest issue was not understanding the hot water heater. No information on how to use it and i couldn't find anything online. We got it to work but there was water on the floor everytime we used it. I don't know if the unit is faulty or if we used it wrong. No one spoke much English for us to ask. The location is nice, near the mosque, but out of the way for anything else.

Our stay at Riad Lorsya was a dream. The property was beautiful and conveniently located in the medina. The breakfasts were excellent as was the dinner we enjoyed. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We would highly recommend Riad Lorsya to anyone visiting Marrakech.

Amazing stay

Amazing Riad, highly recommend! Lovely rooftop space, fantastic breakfast, comfortable room, however the staff were what really made our stay, right from the pre arranged airport pick up to printing our boarding passes, nothing was to much trouble for them, we hope to return in the near future

Well appointed, nicely decorated room.

Tastefully decorated room in the medina. Nice rooftop terrace to sit and watch the sunset at night. Nice breakfast area with enjoyable breakfast.

Beautiful but….

This is a fantastic Riad. Quaint and comfortable room with wonderful service and breakfasts. It is hard to find and maps will struggle to help you. We found it very noisy at night with voices from the ground floor echoing through the building. Hard to sleep with this at 11pm both nights.

Disappointing. Traditional riad deep in the medina. Tired property in need of modernisation. incredibly difficult to find without guide via a maze of dimly lit alleys and passages. I can imagine it quite intimidating day or night for female travellers. The rooms are so dimly lit it was difficult to see. This not helped by dark the almost gothic decor of browns an dark plumb . Nice roof top, lovely breakfast. The woman who prepares breakfast and serves tea was really friendly and helpful. A strak contrast to other staff wbo appeared disorganised. We would not stay there again even at half the price.

Overall, a clean Riad with a nice staff. My room was incredibly dark, even with every light on. It made for good sleeping, but that was it. I’m personally not a fan of a loft bedroom with the toilet downstairs. The location is not easy to get to and quite confusing through the Medina. I arranged my transportation through the Riad for arrival and departure knowing this and since I had a large suitcase with me. The arrival was seamless from the airport to the Riad. The departure was not. The manager stepped in to get me to a taxi when the porter did not show to transport me out to meet the taxi (to make the train). However, that taxi driver did not take me anywhere. This is not the fault of the Riad or manager, but had the original porter/taxi they hired showed up, I most likely would not have been in such a predicament.

A lovely riad with amazing service

Lorsya is a beautiful riad just minutes away from the bustling souks but completely quiet, calm and peaceful. Our room was gorgeous and huge, with a mezzanine bedroom up a wooden staircase. The room was fairly dimly lit but that’s part of the vibe! The dinner when we arrived was delicious - beautifully spiced courgettes and aubergine starters and a wonderful tagine. The freshly squeezed orange juice, pancakes, made-to-order omelettes and honey at breakfast - which we ate up on the gorgeous roof terrace - were memorable. The people working there couldn’t do enough for us and were the loveliest people. Incredible value for such a beautiful and authentic place.

Beautiful riad with gorgeous rooftop terrace to have some wine and relax. Staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. It was tricky to find this riad in the maze of the medina, but worth the search!

Visited in May 2023 and found the place in very close location of the main square Difficult to find fist time but once you get short cut directions from the staff it’s easy then Staff were very useful and they also arranged all my excursions and bookings for agadir Nice quiet place where you don’t hear music blasting at night Would definitely stay again in this place

Best Riad

So local! Yassine and staff ensured our check in and hospitalities were flawless! Definitely one of the best Riad in Marrakech. Their mint tea was the BEST despite trying out at different places. And they were just beside Hamman moussaine. Only thing to take note is figuring our how to get to the Riad. So do contact them for the directions.

The hotel is incredibly difficult to find, even for an experienced traveler, as it's in the warrens of the medina. Staff had difficulty obtaining a functional key for our room. The A/C in the room was inadequate for the size of the space. Check out was unclear - we ended up just sliding the key under the office door. Room was decorated nicely. Staff did assist us in removing an unwanted "guide" that was harassing us.

The staff were super kind and accommodating. The location was great, just a 5 minute way from everything which was super convenient. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfy. The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed (hair dryer, towels, shampoo, body wash, etc). The terrace was very beautiful and overlooks the city. I accidentally broke my key during my stay and they were very kind about it and replaced it. They also served breakfast which we really enjoyed. Check out was very easy. Everything about this stay was great and we would recommend to everyone coming to Marrakech.
