Spacious, clean and well maintained, well worth the extra money vis a vis the adjacent JAZ resorts, even more luxurious and modern feeling than the other nearby Steigenberger Coraya resort which has a more clustered and rustic vibe, although closer to the sandy beach. "

"Marsa Shagra Village truly felt like a home away from home. Beyond the breathtaking beauty of the Red Sea, what made this place unforgettable was the warmth, professionalism, and heartfelt spirit of the entire team. A special thank you to the wonderful and playful dive instructor Anja, whose joyful energy and dedication made every dive unforgettable. Huge appreciation as well to the amazing equipment buddy Budi and dive team led by cheerful Basta — always organized, helpful, and smiling. Nur at reception welcomed everyone with genuine kindness, while Riad from bookings made everything effortless from the start. Staying in the royal beachfront tent was magical and only added to the feeling of being part of a family rather than a resort. The underwater world was incredible: dolphins, colourful corals, turtles, octopuses, and even the shy and adorable dugong. At night, the sky revealed the most stunning blanket of stars I’ve ever seen. The buffet offered generous variety and many delicious dishes — though at times a slightly smaller selection might allow for even more consistency in quality. The pizzeria deserves a special mention: the Egyptian pizzaiolo Midu makes pizzas worthy of Napoli! I also loved that some vegetables come from the nearby farm cared for by Ott, who also brings beautiful greenery into the desert surroundings. Thank you, Marsa Shagra and Red Sea Diving Safari, for the memories, care, laughter, and sense of belonging. I already miss this special place deeply!"

"Excellent staff. Excellent sea view room. Gardens are immaculately kept colourful. Food was good. Excellent place for scuba diving. Very good dive centre and nearby reefs. My only issue was the main pool area. Had to walk around the pool in sandals. needs retiling/paving. No easy access into main pool (ladders only). The smaller pool round the front is much better with easy access steps - but has no bar. I'll go back."

"We loved this place. Staff is amazing, clearly management is keeping a tight leash to ensure quality, the property is well maintained, and the greenery is amazing. Food is varied and of very good quality, especially for an all-inclusive resort. We are a family of 3, two adults and a 7 years old boy. Just a few points of improvement. 1. While all staff is great, the beach bar staff are not. They are slow even when they see a long queue. Slow as in they are chatting to each other. 2. Could be more generous with pillows and towels (only 3 pillows and three towels for a room that sleeps 3). They did bring us more whne we asked. The pillow quality is also not great. 3. The animation team can do a better job with Egyptian kids. We addressed this issue and they responded that our child is the only Egyptian in the resort and they did make some effort with him. But later in our stay there were more than 10 Egyptian kids and none were intersted to join activites as no one was "marketing" the activities to them. Maybe some Arabic kids songs? It would have been a much better experience for us, the adults, if our son had been more included in the activities. Again, they made an effort when we asked, but we believe it should be something that they do anyway. 4. They said the pools were heated but they were very very cold so we suspect they were not heated. In general, it was a good stay and we would like to repeat it, but these are just some points of improvement. "

"We stayed at Wadi Sabarah Lodge for 10 days and loved it. The architecture is elegant, respects the local heritage, and blends beautifully with the landscape. The buildings are complemented by extensive desert gardens curated by the one and only Dr. Irina. The combination fosters a sense of peace and harmony. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had a beautiful sea view. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. Cleanliness and hygiene were excellent throughout our stay. The restaurant is located on the upper floor of the main building and offers a stunning view over the lodge complex and the Red Sea. The food is outstanding and intentionally focused on Egyptian cuisine. Lunch and dinner menus are set. One can always ask for more. Fixed mealtimes give the day a pleasant rhythm. Outside of food times, unlimited fresh fruit is always available free of charge. Restaurant service even surpassed the quality of the food. Everyone we talked to was warm and made us feel like we were on a family vacation. We mainly interacted with We mainly interacted with Abdelmaseeh, Mina, and Nabil. They were extraordinarily attentive, kind, accommodating, and fun. The on-site diving and snorkeling centers are excellent, provide equipment, and monitor sea conditions. Everyone working there was fun, kind, and professional. Wadi Sabarah Lodge is a fantastic choice for travelers who value calm, high-quality food, exquisite service, thoughtful design, and respect for nature. "

"Unfortunately, the air conditioner didn’t work in my room and the staff was very slow to respond kept me waiting for hours. I had to demand to be moved to another room. I was sweating in my room. It was so hot. I was surprised at the lackluster care they took for their guest. To make up for, their mistakes, they could’ve comped me the room, but they didn’t."

"It's a lovely hotel: very clean, very high standards of food and drinks, and very attentive staff in the beach, dining and social areas. However some of the reception staff were very unhelpful and made me feel uncomfortable at times. Particularly as I booked initially for 1 person - the room cost is the same for 1 and 2 but I thought to be a bit more eco friendly they could then leave fewer towels etc. When I tried to add a second person they refused and said it would be additional cost, even when I showed them their own website that the cost for 1 and 2 people was the same so I'd essentially already paid. It was only when I asked them to tell me how much it would cost that they finally agreed to add the person, and even then did not update the system properly so that when they arrived the next morning they had no record. I'd have expected much better service from such a luxury hotel, it just seemed like they were out to get more money even though they were already making more from me as a single guest. The stay was otherwise great but this really put a sour note on it"
