Hotel Mead Resorts & Conventions Center

"Weeds growing out of the pavement of parking lot. Bad first impression of neglect. Overall, this hotel needs maintenance, deep cleaning and paint. Many dark and unused areas are that filled with storage. Unexpected $10 fee at check-in for booking/prepaying through 3rd party (Expedia) Not mentioned anywhere in the small-print details of my booking. We were in the West tower. Room 357. King bed was actually comfy. Spacious room had a sitting area with queen pullout couch and very small flat tv. Mini kitchenette with small sink, full dishes/utensils and microwave. Bathroom HAD small single vanity large lighted mirror and magnified mirror. Water pressure is poor and the grout sorely needs a steam cleaning as it was dark and dirty. Large Beekman Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are wall mounted. There is a second vanity between the bathroom and bed which also had a lighted mirror and mini coffee maker. Kind of strange. Portable a/c unit with duct taped through window. Noisy. Not a deal breaker. A/C cancelled out the live music from the lounge that played live until bar close. Whitney restaurant food was very good! Pool is open 5am to 11pm! Price was $130 for a Friday night. Bargain but needs TLC."

"We really love swimming in the outdoor pool, sitting on the patio & enjoying the hot tub & fire pit. We had dinner on the patio. The weather was beautiful, the food good & there was very enjoyable live music."

"Would be nice for the pool to work it's been down an awful long time. Bathroom fans would be great if they worked as well. My TV wouldn't work unless I logged into the wifi which I had no idea what the password was or even which one to use.. Staff live on site and are always in hallway it seems. Would be nice not to be booked across from a staff room. Or near a very loud elevator. Spiderwebs in the corners of windows Would like to see more options in the vending machines. And do not disturb signs mean just that. Do NOT disturb."
