Beautiful house located in the heart of North Maremma, in the real countryside but not far from the sea, with incredible view on the hills until the Elba island. Recently renovated and decorated with antique furniture, offers an entrance with fireplace, a living room and a “summer living room” in the veranda, a dining room, an office room with fireplace, a very well equipped kitchen, four bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. A big garden with terrace, swimming pool and 13 acres of olive trees and grazing land.
Weekly rates (included additional costs, bed and bath linen and final cleaning) depending on the season and number of tenants. Discount for long stay.
The fifth bedroom, with private bathroom, is located in an outbuilding of 25 sqm.
Next to the pool (11x4,5 meters) there is a small kitchen.
A car is needed.

Tolle Lage mit Superblick bis zum Meer und Bach Elba

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Etwas abgelegen, aber das muss man eben in Kauf nehmen. Dafür wird man mit einem Traumhaften Blick belohnt. Der Pool liegt am Hang und ist ein Invinity Pool, dh Du liegst im Wasser und schaust übers Land. Nachteil. Bälle fliegen weit weg. Das Hsus ist sehr alt, aber mit Atmosphäre. Pizzaofen war genial.

Family get together

My wife and I invited my family to celebrate my birthday in this property. It is the perfect location for a get together: 5 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, a beautiful pool, lots of places to sit and talk, eat and drink. The property is is an old farm house in the Tuscan forest, renovated and nicely furnished. The view from the property is absolutely amazing. Two slight limitations are the internet (spotty in most places on the property) and the access road (gravel and rocks, not suited to a sports car but can be navigated fine otherwise).

True Italy

This place felt like home from the moment we arrived. It is in a very beautiful and rural place, which we loved, very quiet and relaxing, mainly birdsong. Authentic Italian. You can feel the love with which it has been furnished and decorated. It is so well equipped there was not one thing we were short of. Fantastic swimming pool, spotlessly clean as was the whole house. Great showers, comfy beds, lots of places to sit both inside and out. Fun roads to drive, very little traffic, lots of wildlife. Marissa lives on the farm next door and looks after this place for the owner. She is very friendly and helpful. If I had a house in Italy it would be exactly like this, in fact it would be this one! Would book this place again in a heartbeat! Loved it!!

Sommerferien in Podere Gaggi

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 8 Personen. Wir bewohnten das gesamte Haus samt Pooöhaus. Die Zimmer hatten alle einbezogenes, dass war sehr komfortabel! Das Haus ist sehr schön mit alten Möbeln eingerichtet: wunderschön! Die Terrasse ist groß, mit einem riesigen Tisch, 2 Sonnenligen und 2 kleinen Sitzgelegenheiten! Jeder hat sein Lieblingsplätzchen gefunden! Der Pool ist toll gelegen, mit Blick in die toskanische Landschaft! Zum Einkaufen sind wir nach Massa Maritima gefahren, ca 20 Minuten mit dem Auto. Dort gibt es 2 Supermärkte. Wir haben die Einkäufe immer mit einem kleinen Stadtbummel mit Eisessen verbunden! Massa ist bezaubernd! Unsere Hunde durften wir mitbringen, sie fanden es auch ganz toll! Alles in allem: ein sehr schöner Urlaub! Vielen Dank liebe Anna, dass wir in Ihrem Haus diese schöne Zeit verbringen durften! Liebe Grüße Ute

Woundetful views

Wonderful view all the way down to the sea in this large house. Large pool and plenty of space both in the garden and the house. Completely enclosed garden, perfect for us with dogs who could roam freely all day. Worth knowing, the house is very secluded. It's about a 25-minute drive to the nearest supermarket. The road is narrow and winding, so it takes longer than you might think. There are closer restaurants, but they all require a car as they are at least 6 km away. Marisa, the neighbor, is super helpful and makes her own wine, which is excellent. It's just a shame she doesn't sell it. The pizza oven is fantastic and well worth the effort to fire it up. Italian: Meravigliosa vista fino al mare in questa grande casa. Grande piscina e tanto spazio sia nel giardino che nella casa. Giardino completamente recintato, perfetto per noi con i cani che potevano correre liberamente tutto il giorno. Da sapere, la casa è molto isolata. Ci vogliono circa 25 minuti di auto per arrivare al supermercato più vicino. La strada è stretta e tortuosa, quindi ci vuole più tempo di quanto si pensi. Ci sono ristoranti più vicini, ma tutti richiedono l'auto poiché sono almeno a 6 km di distanza. Marisa, la vicina di casa, è molto disponibile e produce il suo vino, che è eccellente. È un peccato che non lo venda. Il forno per le pizze è fantastico e vale la pena di accenderlo.

Auffrischung nötig

Zufahrt zum Haus eher schwierig, da es sich um eine stark abfallende steinige Naturstrasse handelt. Müsste gesagt werden. Lage sehr schön. Betten, Garten- und Poolmobiliar sollten dringend erneuert werden, auch müsste alles mal richtig gereinigt werden. Wir hatten es trotzdem sehr schön, finden aber generell, dass diese Häuser in der Toscana für die hohen Mietpreise mindestens sauber sein müssten. Wir mieteten schon einmal ein grosses Haus in der Toscana und mussten erst überall sauber machen. Freundliche Grüsse Verena Diener

Beautiful Location and great pool

We are a family of 4 with two teenage girls (14 and 17) and we really enjoyed our time at this lovely villa. The location is beautiful and remote, on an unmade road, so a low car is not advisable! The pool is probably one of the best we have had in a villa- stunning view and very clean and a good size for swimming. There are a good range of loungers by the pool as well as parasols for keeping out of the 34 degree heat! There is also a fridge and a sink by the pool that were useful - the pool is below the house so its great to have somewhere to keep cold drinks. As others have mentioned, the kitchen is very well equipped, but does get hot as there is no a/c in this room - not a problem for us but may be for others. There are mosquito screens on all doors and windows, and we managed to avoid being bitten! The beds were comfortable and all the bedrooms have AC and en suite bathrooms. Anna is very quick to respond to any questions and provides some good suggestions of what to do in the local area and was very helpful with directions. As one of the previous reviews mentioned, it is about 25 minutes from the nearest supermarket and the road is very windy up to the villa, so make sure you stock up on supplies when at the supermarket in Masa Marittima. We found the Conad supermarket the best. Masa Marittima is a nice place to visit as well, and there are some good restaurants in the main square Marissa lives in the separate rear part of the villa, and is very helpful, and although she only speaks Italian - we managed to communicate well! She does have 2 dogs that bark, sometimes early in the morning, which can interrupt the peace and quiet. Rather oddly, when we first arrived we had only been given 2 bedrooms. However, after a quick call to Anna, Marissa made up a 3rd bedroom for us. This was a little confusing as the VRBO booking confirmation stated that we had booked a 5 bedroom villa. So it’s worth confirming prior to booking what parts of the villa will be accessible to you if you are a small party. I’d recommend this villa to families looking for a villa in a stunning location with a great pool.

Ferien in bella Toscana

Nach der kurvenreichen und auf der Zielgeraden tatsächlich etwas beschwerlichen Anfahrt stand unseren Sommerferien in einem grosszügigen Steinhaus mit wunderbarem Pool nichts im Wege. Wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Grazie!

Deze traditionele woning is lekker ruim opgezet en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig, het zwembad met prachtig uitzicht is helemaal top. De ligging is erg privé maar wel enigszins op afstand van faciliteiten zoals winkels en restaurants.

Paradijs in de Maremma

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in Podere ai Gaggi. 2 Families met tieners in een meer dan ruim huis. Prachtig oud pand, heel smaakvol ingericht met airco in alle slaapkamers. Het hele huis is voorzien van horren voor ramen en deuren. Heerlijk groot zwembad met een waanzinnig uitzicht. Omgeving is heel landelijk, rustig en om bij het huis te komen heb je echt een auto nodig. Opletten met een lage auto op de onverharde weg naar het huis! Makkelijke en snelle communicatie met eigenaresse Anna. De caretaker Marisa woont naast het huis en is voor alles aanspreekbaar. Een hele lieve vrouw die niets te veel is als zich een probleem voordoet. We hopen hier zeker terug te komen!

Un angolo di paradiso in Maremma

Nel cuore della Maremma toscana, il casale permette di godere di una splendida vacanza. La struttura è grande, adatta a gruppi numerosi. Per come è organizzata offre il perfetto mix tra indipendenza e condivisione. Le stanze sono tutte spaziose, luminose e dotate di aria condizionata. Le aree comuni sono numerose e si prestano a molteplici utilizzi. La piscina - attrezzata con lettini, ombrelloni, doccia e angolo cottura con frigo - è il fiore all'occhiello della struttura. Toglie davvero ogni voglia di uscire. Pur essendo isolato, a tutto vantaggio di un completo relax, il casale è comunque a circa mezzora da Follonica e ad una ventina di minuti da Massa Marittima. Una nota di merito sia per Marisa, che si occupa della casa in maniera impeccabile, sempre gentile e disponibile, che per Anna, la proprietaria, precisa e puntuale nella gestione dell'intero soggiorno. In definitiva un posto splendido ed assolutamente consigliato.

Wir hatten eine traumhaft schöne Woche. Ein wirklich tolles Haus mit einer sensationellen Aussicht!! Alles war vorhanden und bei Problemen gab es nette Ansprechpartner. Alles zu voller Zufriedenheit gewesen...Gerne wieder :-)

A fantastic house for a family holiday in the tuscanian countryside

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful country house in Tuscany. Every day we went for long walks in the forests or sat at the terrace or in the pool area and enjoyed the view over the mountains to the sea and the isle of Elba. A weeks stay in this house gives peace to the soul. The house is tastefully decorated and fulfil all the needs for a family holiday. We went for shopping in Massa Maritima and enjoyed the picturesque villages Tatti and Prata. We are thankful to the owner, Anna, and the neighbour Marisa who both were very helpful during our stay. We would gladly come back.

Splendid experience

We had a wonderful time in Tuscany! The house is a great place with strong historical flavor to it (I understand it's 200 years old!), while everything needed for comfortable modern living is available. The view is fantastic with rich flora and fauna. Overall - a perfect family vacation :)
