"The resort was in a really peaceful location next to its own Marina. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The balcony was a nice place to sit at and look out over the mountains and marina in the morning and afternoon. Kitchenette was equipped with all we needed to make teas and coffees and prepare fruit and yoghurt in the morning and heat croissants but we did try the restaurant for dinner (ribs and steak very good as well as the cheesy tear and share bread). Some points to note were our spa bath didn't work and the hotel listing orginally said it had an outdoor pool (please be warned it doesn't) but reported both to reception so hopefully will be rectified for next guest and we would stay again if in the area."

"Room, kitchen and bathroom were like new, very attractive and well equipped. Grounds and surroundings were also very quiet and pleasant. This is a 4 star facility at a very attractive price. I wish i had booked more days here."

"It felt like a very new upmarket workers accomodation complex in the midst of a noisy industrial centre on the outskirts of Cromwell. Rooms were tiny but very nicely appointed. Ideal for a single person but crowded for two. Just a microwave, no stove or real kitchen space at all - calling it a studio apartment is misleading. However the complex has large communal kitchen (equipped with everything), lounge area, bbqs and outdoor tables etc. A perfect set up for resident workers, tradies, bus groups, etc. Less so for holidaying couples seeking the independence, central location and space of a real studio apartment."

"The kitchen was well equipped with crockery, utensils, good size fridge and full oven. The full bottle of milk was a nice touch. Cooking basics like olive oil would have been helpful as we did a lot of meals in. Location to the river and trails was about 1.5kms either direction. The location was quiet with great views of the mountains. Close to local Cromwell attractions and wineries. "
