Owner was very nice and friendly. It’s located next to the ancient site so my wife and I can just walk out the door and explore all the views of the town. Property was beautiful with unique design and spacious. It’s great experience different from the usual hotels staying.

Great historic property that looks even better in person than the pictures. Great hospitable host. Please note, this is in the historic centre (walking only) so parking is about 5 mins away. It's well worth it to stay here!

Magnifique sassi très spacieux situé en plein centre ville dans les sassi idéal pour visiter Matera dans une zone entièrement piétonne. La chambre est très bien décorée, moderne et bien aménagée avec une salle de bain aussi moderne et spacieuse. Un escalier mène à une mezzanine spacieuse pour un 3e lit une place La literie est de bonne qualité et nous avons bien dormi Seul bémol, difficile à trouver car pas de panneau même quand on est juste devant; heureusement notre hotesse est sortie pour venir à notre rencontre lorsqu’on était perdu devant avec nos valises. Difficile aussi de trouver la zone où il faut se garer en amont de la zone interdite à la circulation car les gps ne sont pas précis avec un réseau aléatoire. Inutile cependant de prendre le parking à 25€ car il est situé aussi à 250 mètres de l’hotel à mon avis au même endroit où on peut se garer avec le parcmetre public pour beaucoup moins cher. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans une très bonne pâtisserie , le caffe Schiuma, située à 10 minutes à pied : on a droit à une boisson chaude, un très bon croissant fourré à la pistache très croustillant, un mini sandwich salé et un jus d’orange. Pas très copieux, mais largement suffisant et surtout excellent, surtout le chocolat fondu et le cappuccino.

O café da manhã é apenas um corneto e um café, servido em uma padaria há 350 mts da acomodação.O Estácionamento é pago 25 euros ao dia e longe da acomodação. A acomodação não tem aquecimento, nem televisão. Apenas o básico. A toalha de banho não é trocada, e fica molhada.

BnB idéal pour s’imprégner de Matera

Le logement est idéalement situé dans le nord du centre historique donnant un accès rapide aux Sassi. Des rues gratuites pour se garer se trouvent à 5min à pied ce qui permet d’accéder facilement au logement. Le logement parfaitement rénové a beaucoup de charme.

Adresse de charme !

Séjour parfait! Situation de rêve. Même si la chambre-grotte n'a qu'une porte donnant sur une valme petite cour fleurie, elle est tellement originale qu'elle vaut la peine. La salle de bains est sous la voûte d'un ancien grenier à grain (impossible à photographier!). Le lit est très confortable. La propreté, irreprochable. On est tout près d'un beau point de vue sur le Sasso barisano en contrebas. Simona, la propriétaire, est très sympathique et serviable. Le petit déj italien est servi dans une vraie caffetteria mais est un peu frugal.

Superbe chambre dans un site magnifique !

Superbe chambre dans le style des Sassi environnants...vue superbe à 10 metres, d'ailleurs. Plusieurs lits, tres bonne literie, beaucoup d'espace. Service dévoué de Simone. Quelques bémols : - nous avons tourné une heure pour trouver une place de parking, tous les emplacements indiqués par l'hote etant pleins...nous avons donc marché 15 minutespar 37° avec de lourds bagages; - le petit dejeuner, il faut aller le prendre dans un café à 10 minutes

Great place to stay!!

An absolutely amazing B and B!! They take care of every detail. Made our stay everything we had hoped for and more. We worked with the adult daughter who knows everything about the area and communicates very well in English. Would definitely go back and stay again! We are from the States and usually stay at only 5 star suite hotels back home.
