The room and resort were very clean. We at at the Turtles Bar and Grill and the Captain's Catch. The food was great. We spent most our our time at the beach. They provide lounge chairs and umbrellas at no charge. I'd return again without a doubt.

You can spend time browsing the exhibits at Griffen American Center for Haitian Art during your trip to Matlacha Isles-Matlacha Shores. Wander the beautiful beaches or discover the area's beautiful sunsets.
Enjoyed it. But, traffic is heavy on a narrow street and you have to walk close to the traffic much of the way. Very limited parking. Not an area with beaches. Lot's of opportunities for fishing, boating activities, rentals and tours. Go to the parks

It's a unique little fishing town that also showcases local artists. It's colorful and interesting and has several restaurants and views of the water.
This is a small artsy community with a large seasonal population. Parking is at a premium but if you’re willing to walk there is much to see.
