"My husband and I had a great experience overall. This was our second time staying at this specific resort (first time was in 2022). Our room was clean, the outdoor pools were good, and the staff was nice and helpful. This resort used to have a shuttle that would take guests to specific stops in town as part of the resort fee, like the Cannery, but when we were there in March 2026, we learned they no longer run that shuttle. If I had to guess, it is likely because some of those shuttle stops no longer exist sadly due to the 2023 Lahaina fire. Small things we noticed: the elevator lights weren't working for several days of our trip, but the staff hung a lantern temporarily and the lighting was fixed eventually. A few tiles were loose around the pool area. Not the resort's fault, but it seemed that several activities that are usually offered as part of the resort fee were canceled while we were there due to the rain storms that happened during our trip. Guests should keep in mind that a lot of activities are very much dependent on good weather and be ready to find alternative plans in case of rain. "

"Everything was as advertised. The unit was well stocked and very clean. We enjoyed our stay, even with the Kona storm. It was an experience we will remember. The pool is great and the location dreamy. The bed was very comfortable and the Internet was fast! If you’re going to Molokai you will enjoy this unit and location. Thank you!"

"Gorgeous location, saw whales from our lanai. Friendly owners and guests in other condos. So much nicer than i ever imagined. Very comfortable place with all amenities for a luxurious stay. Plan to return, hopefully to the same unit."

"This is a lovely condo community with pretty, well-maintained grounds, and the apartment is larger than many 1-bedrooms, updated and comfortable. The hosts were great with communication. The island of Molokai definitely has a different, more quiet and subdued vibe, so this is the ultimate spot for people who want to get away from the crowds and enjoy lovely ocean views."

"The place has so much recreation gear for the guests to enjoy. Love the decor and the comfy furniture. The local rep was extremely helpful. Only thing that needs to be updated is the pool key code… we wrote it on the whiteboard for the next guest. Unfortunately the fan in the living room does not work but we came during a windy time so the cool air flowed in nicely in the unit. "

"Valerie was great at reaching out to us prior to our visit to give us suggestions and make sure we had our questions answered. Rainbow Retreat was very well set up and equipped. We met the neighbors who were friendly and I was invited to play pickleball with the group at Wavecrest. I was also invited to play with the in town group. When we were told that our return flights were cancelled and we wouldn't be able to leave Molokai for another 3 days, Valerie connected us with potential places to stay.
