We stayed here for parents weekend at Fredonia. It is about 30-40 minutes from campus. The hotel is stunning. It maintains its 1800s elegance. The entire property is gorgeous. However, it’s the staff that makes your stay truly special. Every member is so kind and helpful. The continental breakfast has a delicious assortment of pastries and yogurt. The full bar is beautiful and it was so nice to enjoy a glass of wine on the patio. I highly recommend this property.

This richly historic place was great to stay in. Request a room in the main part of the hotel with a water view! But the old girl needs some outside cosmetic help. New paint is needed! Breakfast was tasty and the dinner just great!

It is a GORGEOUS building with so many lovely details, but the price is a bit steep for the quality. The building has not been maintained well, the rooms are dated, but not in a historic way (we were in the "annex") and it felt like it was from the 1970s or 80s, especially the bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and the room was clean, aside from the windows which is my major complaint. We had a lovely lake view, but the windows were COVERED in dead bugs and bird droppings. We had to open the window to see clearly. There are no ameneties in the building aside from a restaurant and bar, so nothing to review there. The said there is a pool in town that is included, but needs to be reserved. Breakfast was fabulous - delicious, fresh pastries (warm), greek yogurt and berries, hard boiled eggs, toast options, fruit, bars, etc. Perfection. It's such a lovely town, we walked around all day and were in awe :) All in all, a nice place, but not as fancy as I expected.

The continental breakfast was healthy and varied. Our room was lovely, it faced the lake and had a beautiful view. The staff was accommodating and very friendly. Perfect for a mid week stay as a quiet getaway.

The safety in the property is top notch. Its a 1890 built historic building. It might not be for everyone, but i liked it. It has free continental breakfast. Free parking.
