"I've stayed here many times and the staff is always personable and helpful. Rooms are clean, with the studio layout offering extra space for seating. Biggest negative is that the walls are very thin. Recommend a third floor room if you want more quiet."

"Older hotel but still comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Very convenient location. Found out that there was a Rap concert the same night that we stayed. Rooms are well insulated and we didn’t hear a single noise from the concert or the parking lot. Would stay here again."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Joyce was an amazing and incredibly friendly host. She made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived, and the warm, freshly baked pumpkin scones she sent us home with were such a thoughtful and delicious touch!The Flat at First Street was super clean, comfortable, cozy, and very well stocked with everything we needed. The location was excellent and perfect for our family weekend at WSU to visit our son.We truly felt at home during our stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely love to stay here again and highly recommend Joyce’s place to anyone visiting the area!"

"This place worked perfectly for me. I was in for a family emergency and the kitchen was well stocked with everything I needed to cook to keep everyone going. The oven bakes perfectly evenly and the cookware and utensils were all in excellent condition. Bed was comfy and the place was very quiet. WiFi was fast and I had no trouble connecting to work online in between doing family stuff. Host was flexible, allowing me to add an extra night and check out a little late to make a work meeting. Hope to come back for a fun visit in the future."

"Tarez is an outstanding host and made our stay seamless from start to finish. She went out of her way to accommodate special requests for additional seating and specific coffee preferences. Communication was immediate, gracious, and welcoming. Would highly recommend this location for your visit. Unfortunately the new requirement for a two night minimum stay may preclude us visiting again."

"We were in town for college tours. The location is excellent. So easy to walk downtown or to the U of I campus. The space was great for us (two adults and 1 teenager). The furnishings were perfect, linens soft and plentiful, there were even throw blankets. The space is very clean and the kitchen and bathroom updates are beautiful. There is a coffee and tea station that is well stocked. Though we didn’t cook, the kitchen looked like it had everything needed. The host clearly went the extra mile to ensure guests comfort. We will definitely stay again when we revisit Moscow."

"Everything about this sweet place was perfect! Jeneille is an excellent communicator. She even provided ideas for things to see/do in the area. The house is so cute and we loved the hot tub. And the off street parking was great."
