Beautiful LOG HOME-Poker & Pool Table, Xbox,
Firepit,Jacuzzi tub,Week Specials!
Welcome to Antlers Crossing -- a beautiful log home with soaring beams, luxury furnishings, plenty of space for families to spread out, and tons of entertainment options for all ages!
Walk up to the house through a path of lavender. The great room features a large, antique gas log fireplace, leather sofas, comfy armchairs, high ceilings with gorgeous wooden beams. A rustic dining room and gourmet kitchen are nearby -- the kitchen has granite countertops, stainless appliances, beautiful custom cabinetry, and is stocked with everything you'll need to cook for your guests. A deck off the dining room features a seating area and a large Weber gas grill for cooking out.
Two first floor bedrooms each have a queen bed and share a full bath with an extra large tub and shower. There is also a bathroom closet with a washer and dryer.
Head up to the second floor and find the gorgeous master bedroom suite featuring a pillowtop king bed, vaulted ceiling, reading area, and a flatscreen TV with a DVD player. It has a luxury bath with a high-end BainUltra jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and dual vanities. A loft on the second floor has a sofa bed, a 50' HDTV with YouTube TV, Netflix a Sony Nintendo Wii-U with games for family play time, and a bookcase with a variety of books and movies for all ages.
On the lower level you'll find a large rec room with a full-size pool table, a super comfy poker/game table, a big screen tv, an X-Box Kinect play area, and lots of boardgames. A fourth bedroom on the lower level is a bunkroom style kids will love. It has 2 bunk beds made of logs - each one has a twin bed over a full bed. This bedroom has a 3rd full bath.
The lower level has a second deck -- this one, like the one off the dining room, overlooks a small seasonal stream. Relax and watch the many birds and deer in the woods.
This log home is located inside the Massanutten Resort and very close to many of the activities and amenities -- we're only about a minute by car from most of them.
We provide linens/pillows for all beds. When you arrive you will find they are all made up for you, ready to go.
We provide bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths for your stay (12), so you won't need to haul a suitcase of bath towels along - just some for the waterpark or pool, if you plan to use it.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and serve meals -- just bring your food. The oven has two baking compartments to make cooking big meals easier. Kitchen also has a small air fryer.
We also provide a pack-n-play and a high-chair in the house for those with babies (bring your own linens for pack-n-play), and we have a toy chest and lots of books, games, and puzzles for all ages, so you don't need to bring too much with you.
COVID NOTICE: If you rent a privately-owned home in the resort (ours or anyone else's), please note that Massanutten has announced they will sell tickets for amenities (like the waterpark) online based on a Purchasing Schedule to limit capacity for Covid as required by government. The public (including guests of privately-owned rental homes) may purchase tickets 10 days in advance. This information may change at any time, so please consult with the website for any changes, but is provided as a courtesy as we do not amend our refund policy based on ticket availability that is outside of our control. We do recommend "cancel for any reason" trip insurance available from many vendors that provides refunds for this or any other tragic situation that may arise and prevent your family from enjoying your vacation.
POOL NOTICE: In the summer, we pay for a Guest Pass so that our visitors can access the private Owners Swimming Pool complex in the resort - just up the road about 1 mile. Guests 5 and under are free, but guests 6+ are charged a $6 daily user fee. Not every home owner pays for this guest pass for their guests, so if you rent elsewhere be sure to check on this. Other than this pool. guests at privately-owned rental homes can swim at the huge waterpark during their stay. The Owners Pool is outdoors and only open in the summer, weather and staffing dependent.
Occupancy: 12 persons (all adults and children in the home count towards this limit). As our occupancy is limited to 12 persons at any time, we do not rent this home for parties or events.
Non-Smoking, No Pets Property: This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property (outside or inside). And although we understand that many pet lovers travel with their furry friends, this home does not allow pets.
Minimum Age of Renter: Primary renter must be 25 years of age or older.

Enjoyed a long weekend at this cabin. Main and upper level are cozy and rustic, lower game room area is nice addition. Very well stocked. Clean and comfortable. Nice neighborhood. Would happily return.
We had a wonderful time during our rental. The house is gorgeous, with a little creek running right out back for perfect ambience. It's secluded without being remote, and cozy while still being spacious. Great kitchen for cooking, and the game room kept us all entertained! Super clean and nice, well stocked, and the beds were super comfy. Perfect vacation getaway!!
The house had a lot of amenities including toys and activities for the kids. The host was helpful and very responsive answering questions. We had a great weekend!
We enjoyed our family getaway at this perfect mountain home! Plenty of space for the adults & kids in the family to come together & spread out & make use of the great entertainment area downstairs. Easy communication w/ property owners at anytime. Everything you need & more to make ourselves feel at home! Only recommendation describe parking area in front of property & list that a television is not in the main living room. We would definitely recommend & stay here again!
This home is perfect for a family gathering. Three floors of living space provides plenty of room for all to spread out and enjoy the amenities. Watching the wildlife from the front and back porches was a highlight along with the game room with plenty of toys, etc. for children. The lodge decor made the home feel very cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing large meals. The property manager was very prompt in responding to communications. We appreciated the cleanliness!
We stayed three nights (Thursday thru Sunday). The entire process was very easy, the house was great, very clean and up to date furnishings throughout. The propane fire pit on the front porch was a real hit in the evening and in the morning while enjoying coffee. The gas fireplace was nice, and it really warmed the living space. The family area downstairs with the pool table and the poker table along with the TV made for a great space to watch college football and have fun. We would give the property a 10 out of 10.
We stayed at this beautiful home for 4 days and it was heaven - so clean and well equipped - plenty of room for adults and teenagers to spread out and have fun. It was JMU homecoming weekend and was perfect. The firepit on the front porch for morning coffee and late night fun was an added bonus. If i was to make one suggestion it would be to add a thicker set of curtains to the master as the morning sun is very bright but besides for that pristine. Our host was very easy to work with. Get this house if you can, you will not be disappointed. The Ennis ( Griswald) family Oct 2023
Property was exactly as described and suited our family perfectly for our extended weekend in the Shenandoah Valley. We would recommend this property to others looking to stay in the area. Property was very well stocked and provided all the amenities we needed including bathroom towels, shampoo, and conditioner! Trash drop off took some investigative work, but it all worked out. My only recommendation would be to include some dish soap in the kitchen so that we can wash any oversized dishes or kitchen gadgets that would not fit into the dishwasher. All in all a wonderful stay. Mary Ann's property is well maintained and provides everything you need for a mountain getaway. Thank you!
So many amenities and all in working condition. Host was very helpful and answered all the questions my group had. The cabin was very nice and I would recommend to others.
This property has everything you need for a fun group trip. Games, beautiful back patio, beautiful porch, all the kitchenware you need, and all surrounded by beautiful scenery. Highly recommended.
The house is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay, however, the HVAC froze up on night one, due to improper maintenance of the unit. Filters were old, the coils, both outside and inside still need to be cleaned properly, but we made it work for us.

Enjoyed our stay but found several things wanting
Following are some comments which are provided to help make the stay at this location more enjoyable for others.
One major complaint - The pictures in VRBO are misleading concerning the outside views. The house appears to be surrounded by woods, but in fact there are other houses in all directions.
The house is very limited in vanity spaces, especially the Main floor bathroom:
○ No clothes hooks to hang clothes on when showering. There is a cheap hook over one door that someone put there (maybe a guest?) and it does not allow the door to shut completely
○ No vanity space to lay items beside the washbowl, and no bathroom cabinet to put men’s items (razors, et.) and women’s items (makeup, etc.)
○ The shower head is not adjustable for different types of streams (it looks like it may have been designed to be, but possibly frozen in place due to age and corrosion?)
The lower oven light was out
A light over the kitchen sink would be helpful
In general, the house needs brighter lighting. Most areas of the house were dim
In the bedroom closet on the main floor at the front side of the house
○ No clothes rod for hanging clothes
Danger! A vent grate right beside the bed and next to the wall is not secure. Easily slides off. If that should happen (and it did happen while I was there) one’s foot could slip into the rectangular vent hole beneath it and cause injury.
While we had no need for it, the bottom floor with gameroom and bunk beds was very nice.
