The hallways hadn't been cleaned. A handrail wasn't attached . Our room the curtains were missing hooks,consequently light came throug. Our security lock didnt work. The outside security door was never locked. This place needs a good remodeling.

It was ehhh

This isn’t the worst hotel I have stayed in. It was ehh. Very old. Kinda dank smelling. Our door had no chain or bar on the door so housekeeping came in both mornings while we were sleeping and quickly left. The bathroom was spotless. I’m guessing the family that owns it lives there. It was very hard to hear when they were checking us in.

Just not up to par.

Went to visit my son at College. I won't stay again. The smell, of them cooking food was bad. Had to get a new room key 4 times. Only one electrical outlet in the room. Had to charge my phone in the bathroom. Continental breakfast consisted of pre-packged mini muffins and danish. With only like 3 items out. One single coffee pot. Room door would not close on its own like most hotels so had to really make sure and pull it shut or else it would go open all the way. Front desk was nice but very hard to understand. English was not very good.

I walked in the guy behind the counter could barely speak any English as soon as I was checked in we walked to our room hallway stunk took me five tries to get the cookie card to work walked in the room there were burn holes in the carpet in the carpet was ripped up in areas the beds are OK bathroom shower were nasty and dirty as we were going to sleepThe odor from the hallway was coming in under the door I had to take towels and just stuff them to the bottom of the door to keep it from smelling bad the good thing was the air-conditioning work really well

I was a little concerned checking in.....the lobby and halls were not appealing. Worn and a little dirty. However, the room was well cleaned and furnished comfortably. I was happy once in the room. I think it was the only pet friendly hotel in McPherson. I would stay again to be able to have my pet with me.

Staff did not understand basic questions. Breakfast was okay but left much to be desired. NOT very handicap friendly at all! Carpet in room desperately needs replaced. Lavatory faucet was difficult to lift and felt like it was going to come off whenever you turned it on. Beds hard and sheets stained. Box springs need replaced or at least the covers on them.

This hotel did not give me the room I reserved. I reserved a single king and got a double gueen room. The pillows were thin and hard. A coffee pot was in the room but no coffee packets. There was also no coffee in the lobby.

It was the pits, but comfortable

There won't be enough room to write about all that was wrong. Check in terrible. The woman did not know how to access my reservation and was going to charge me for the room. The room had no smoke alarm, just wires where it should have been. There was hair in the bathtub and thick dust on the towel rack. I will say the bed was comfortable; the air conditioning worked well, the room carpet was clean. There was a refrigerator but it had food and beverages from the previous guest. When I checked out, I had to look for the woman as she was having go clean rooms because the maid did not show up. The check out was another bad experience and she required me to sign the credit card slip that was not for my credit card. She said it was to show that I stayed and she could collect from you folks her money. I had never had to do that before. I would only stay again if I believed the management learned how to check in guests from Hotels.com.
