The only downsides are hot water for showers is pretty limited so you need to space them out or have short showers, and the ladder to the bunk bed is not fixed onto the bed making it a safety concern, but this could be fixed with a couple screws. "Right next door to train station/ bus station and ideal for amalfi day trips. Hotel front desk staff are very helpful particularly Filomina. Hotel decor is good. Bed furnishings need a change as they look bit dull and old with little stains here and there. No lift for upper floor rooms. Chose the room on upper floor and slept ok so can't comment on noise on the ground floor rooms with being locateed in the busy area. "

"Shops and Restaurants all very local. Very light and airy apartment, suited our needs. It did get noisy in the evenings but with a nice "hubbub" of sound - of people eating out and enjoying life. It didn't disturb us, but if you want a quiet place, perhaps reconsider."

The walls were paper thin and there were people yelling outside most of the night, making it very difficult to sleep. The room itself was fine, as was check in. Good location. "
