"I'm very local but needed different surroundings to relax and recharge and thanks to this lovely cabin, hosts and location I achieved this. Would highly recommend and would visit again. The cabin exceeded expectations and is very peaceful and tranquil with woodland surrounds. I had everything I needed and the hosts went above and beyond. The whole experience, cabin, furnishings and location was perfect just the way it was, I wouldn't change anything other than staying longer. Beautiful!"

"We did enjoy the stay, but there could be a couple of improvements. Pros: convenient location Quiet Clean Pets are allowed Smart TV Cons: uncomfortable furniture The sofas were older and one was torn. They really should be replaced. They are extremely lumpy and uncomfortable. The beds were quite hard. My husband couldn’t sleep in the double bed as it was too uncomfortable for him. The water pressure is quite low. If a small investment was made to the furniture, it would be a 5 star review."

"Beautiful property located in Chilwack, just outside the main Southampton area. The property is well maintained with well appointed rooms and amenities. Our rooms were spacious and bright, even with being located on the 1st floor. We had opted for the breakfast included rate, and thankful we were for the choice. Lovely tea, coffee, fruit, pastries, cereal as well as hot items. The hotel itself is a little outside the city centre, so a taxi is highly recommended for about 15 quid. We headed back into the city centre last night for a couple for a couple of drinks and food at the Scholars Arms. Again, great experience. Remember, you have to order at the bar as there is no table service. One single complaint about the hotel, if I may, our bed was not comfortable at all. It was like sleeping on the box spring only, as the mattress was either not existent or needed to be replaced. Otherwise, lovely!!"

"The dining room was full and the patrons were loud and boisterous. The bar and dining options were to be ordered at the bar and there were two people working the bar and two people serving customers. The breakfast buffet room was mobbed and the selection was greatly depleted almost as soon as the employees put the offerings out. I grabbed the last plate and let the employee know that there were no more plates. They acknowledged what I said but didn’t put more plates out right away. The coffee was bitter and harsh flavor. When paying over $200 per night you would think that they would do better with the public spaces."

"Lovely stay for my birthday food was great rooms were lovely staff were friendly only a couple of minor things we got back late and the car park was full managed to get the last space thankfully but maybe bare that in mind, then our neighbours were up till 4 am they weren’t being extra loud but we could hear them (not hotels fault) and the lastly we put the “refresh room” sign on our door and when we got back from day out it hadn’t been done so had to go to reception to ask for more tea and coffee for room"
