"Overall we’d recommend this place as an affordable place to lay your head in a really beautiful town. Others have mentioned that it’s an old house, and with that comes character and sometimes things you’re not used to. If old houses are your bag, this will suit you just fine. "
"Beautiful historical hotel, the rooms were comfortable, the bed too and we liked the vintage style fridge. Because this is a historical building the walls are very thin and you can hear everything! I'd give it a higher rating but the thin walls were an annoyance. Also, no AC in the unit."

"My partner and a friend and 4 dogs escaped to Whidbey for Seafair weekend. It was so relaxing and beautiful. The house had everything we needed. Can't wait to stay here again. Dave is an excellent host. "
"Easy check in and quiet location not too far from Langley and Freeland and a short walk to the bay. The house was clean, lots of games, and well stocked kitchen. Bed was comfortable (we were in the master)."
Year Round Beachfront Escape. Mountain Views, Hot Tub, Dedicated Retreat Room
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful time, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished it could have been for a longer period. The rental was so nice and comfortable for our large (9) group. Well equipped with necessities and clear instructions on how to care for the cabin while there and what to do upon leaving. Very clean and amazing view! Great access to the beach. We’d like to return next summer!"
Island getaway with balcony, Wifi, Washer/Dryer and waterview
10/10 Excellent
"We are neighbors remodeling our house and we booked during flooring week so we could still be close and also have space to actually cook and sleep. We met the owners the week prior to our stay so we knew the trick to unlocking the front door, but still had a little trouble with the lock at check in. The property manager responded quickly and the rest of the week went smoothly. We loved having coffee or wine on the deck and watching the boats go by or picking out landmarks on the other side of Holmes Harbor. The craftsmanship that went into building the house is stunning. We also loved the book collection and all the beautifully crafted details inside. I did let the property manager know that i couldn’t find a skillet that wasn’t warped so had a little trouble with cooking, but that’s a quick & easy fix. Otherwise, the house was clean and comfortable. "
"The view is indescribable! Very large side yard to play lawn games, front and back deck to relax on.Would have felt a little more private if there were blinds on the bathroom window and the windows facing the deck in the master suite. But I was alone in the room and could easily change in the walk in closet.Very fast response when we messaged them that the blender wasn’t working. They dropped off a brand new one. You will need to purchase condiments. They only supply the bare minimum like salt and pepper. Adequate supply of pots and pans. Definitely would love to make this an annual trip but this was a splurge to spread my son’s ashes."
Stunning 2 level waterfront home with firepit, WiFi, views, and pool table
10/10 Excellent
"My friends and I stayed for two nights and really enjoyed our time here. There was plenty of space for sleeping and lounging. Sitting on the deck with a view of the water, Mount Rainier and the cascades was wonderful. It was a quick ride to Coupeville and Langley and there are multiple grocery stores on the island. Definitely recommend!"
