Gatehouse Cottage At Moulton Park Estate - Nestled amongst an extensive English inspired garden at the original Moulton Park.

Gatehouse Cottage has a queen size iron frame bed with the open 2-person spa room adjoins making a very romantic bedroom suite. Enjoy the replica Victorian open fireplace in the living room with a dining space, additional heating and cooling, full kitchen and a separate bathroom with shower and toilet.

Enjoy the extensive gardens and atmosphere of the original estate grounds, or enjoy a hit of tennis on the half-court.

Just moments from the property is a walking track that leads you to Sassafras village where you can browse the unique boutiques or afternoon tea at one of the many cafes. A more invigorating walk will place you in the heart of Sherbrooke forest where you can lose yourself amongst the trees.

And there's Wifi for you of course if you must! (Do note that internet and phone reception in the Dandenong Ranges can be unstable and please understand we have no control over that. If you rely on wifi please bring a backup modem).

PLEASE NOTE: The lighting of wood burning fires in properties will be prohibited from the beginning of the declared fire danger season (normally mid December) to the end of February. It is also prohibited on all days of Total Fire Ban at any time of the year. Please see www.cfa.vic.gov.au/home If there is no wood and kindling provided at your property, it will be because of this policy. The collecting and burning of twigs, leaves and branches from outside your property is strictly forbidden at anytime.

Relaxing and Cozy

Gatehouse cottage was a delight a great little place to get cozy and relax. Great location with lots to do, the cottage was very clean communication was great when needed. Looking forward to coming back for another stay.

Picturesque and pleasurable

The Gatehouse is a beautiful property on a beautiful estate. The accommodation itself is thoughtfully presented and comfortable. I have already recommended the estate to others and would come again.

Very peaceful

It was a much needed peaceful stay. The cottage was very cute. Very disappointed we couldn’t have the fireplace going in March when it was quite cool. Spa bath was lovely but old and taps were hard to turn. The gardens were beautiful but wasn’t aware the other cottage and house would be so close, so not as much privacy as I expected. Could do with a better clean as there were some dead flies and bugs in the sun room. Couch was a little uncomfortable. Overall a lovely stay on a peaceful property and a much needed rest.
