The Neighborhood: Immensely convenient surroundings. We're situated just off the corner of Russell St & La Trobe St, a 2min walk from the La Trobe St tram stop.
You're only a short walk to QV, Emporium, Myer, David Jones, Chinatown, Swanston St and more.
Great boutique bars, cafes and attractions around the area.
I've included most of my favourite places and more in my extensive "Local Recommendations Guidebook" on this listings page, so please feel free to check em' out for awesome things to do and eat in the CBD area.
Getting Around: Easy. Surrounded by trams, cabs, buses & trains, it makes getting in, out & around the city extremely convenient.
If you're not a fan of walking, there is a tram stop right at corner of Russell St & La Trobe St which is only a 2 min walk from where we are.
Most importantly, all trams within the city grid are FREE. Just look out for the "FREE tram zone" signs.
No problems hitching a cab or getting on a bus on Exhibition St if you would like to head out of the city.
If you plan to take a train, the Melbourne Central railway station is just a 4 min walk away.
If you drive, the nearest paid parking lot is available at “Wilson Parking” - 62 La Trobe St, which is a minute's walk away from us. Alternatively you may look online for other suitable parking options.
If you just need to park your car temporarily for an hour or so, then you may observe the paid street parking signs around us.
Other Things to Note: This is a private unit ALL TO YOURSELF and you WON'T be sharing this with any strangers during your stay.
A representative will be assigned to check you in in person.
Please be sure to notify us of your arrival times so that we can hand the key to you personally.
This pad accommodates 3 adults generously but a max of 5 overnight. Any more than 3 adult guests overnight will attract an extra AU$14 per night, per additional guest.
The sleeping arrangement for the 4th & 5th adult would be on a 3-seater sofa bed which folds out to a double with extra quilts, pillows, sheets & covers.
