Moonhouse is a basic but comfortable cottage for a couple for a short term stay. Although the decor is simple we had all of our basic needs catered for and the cottage was clean. Some milk left in the refrigerator would have been appreciated. A refurbishment of the weedy garden area outside the cottage and along the walkway to the entrance would greatly improve the overall appeal of this property.

The full apartment/house facilities were excellent and met our needs fully - however, on-street parking was not ideal, and access down/up a slope to the Moon House, behind the primary house, could be a disadvantaage for some.

Wasn’t very inviting walking into property, needs to be tidied up and garden maintained a bit better. The accommodation was fine but could do with a spruce up ,needs a paint or finish the painting on arches etc. some of curtains hanging off poles

This was excellent for a quiet night. For two people very spacious and well provided. Obviously will comfortably accommodate more people. Arrival and entry instructions clear and accurate. Well lit night time access. Highly recommended, albeit remote from shops and restaurants.

Great location close to alot of shops. The children loved the adventure style backyard..the only thing i could suggest is to get a new heater for down stairs and also maybe just invest in a little first aid kit.

It was alright except it was rather cold in the night without a good heater in the living room. I requested for another portable fan heater but host said it was unavailable. No milk and coffee provided in kitchen.

Homely short stay

We stayed down for one night, my husband, his mum, our 3 young boys and myself. My husband, his mum and our oldest two boys all went to the footy while i stayed at Moon House with our youngest son to go to bed. We all found it to meet all our needs and was quiet, cosy, clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Quiet little haven in Diamond Creek

Very easy check in; the accommodation is behind the house of the owners. Overall my stay was really good. Nice owner helped with check in and said to contact if I needed anything. Thoughtful touches such as umbrellas were appreciated. The house is in a quiet area. Only things I would mention are the stovetop and the crockery. The stovetop needs to be replaced: two of the hot plates not working and the others were lukewarm. The glasses and plates were sticky and needed washing. But, overall, a very comfortable bed. Everything else worked well.
