"Incredible hotel. Flawless design principles. Welcoming hospitality. They’ve thought of everything - and made sure it’s really good. We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment on the first floor with a huge balcony overlooking the beach just a few metres away for 4 nights in August. It was spacious, comfortable and well-appointed with a usable kitchen, including hob, oven, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Water, beer and juice in the fridge on arrival. The two bedrooms were on either side of a living space, with two showers (both rain) one of which was over a bath, and a separate toilet. The Penhaligon toiletries smelled divine. You could borrow beach towels, deck chairs, body boards, bat and ball game for the beach. Dressing gowns, slippers, flip-flops for the warm and relaxing indoor pool (saltwater). Parking is included - either just outside or in a nearby garage. The restaurant was excellent but quite expensive. The neighbouring restaurant was incredible for lunch but you need to book and they are busy - their hospitality was a little harder won, but the food was amazing. Beautiful design and thoughtful layout made our stay a complete pleasure, as did the helpful and friendly staff. It really is rare to find somewhere put together with such care. I hope we can return."

"The hotel is beautiful. The views from the terraces, lounges, rooms etc all great. Staff was mostly helpful except when we needed 2 coffee packets for the room. They said we were allowed only one. Weird. Otherwise quite nice. I will come back. Disappointed that there was no spa services. But found an amazing sea water circuit & spa on the beach at la Perla. BONUS 1914 era kids amusement park was adorable. Riding the water boat around the mountain was fun. Skee ball etc. on the hotel side you wouldn’t know the park was just below and behind the hotel. Funicular up & down the mountain also very nice."

"First impressions on arrival were 'Wow this place is very nice' The staff were immediately helpful and spoke excellent English. Our room was spotlessly clean and looks like it's been refurbished recently. The bed firm but comfortable. I didn't watch the TV but a large one is there if you need it. The bathroom is quality, the shower absolutely the best. A proper rain shower, I liked very much. Breakfast was superb, great coffee and everything you could want to eat or drink is there for you to take as much as you like. The location is about 50 metres from the sea front where there is a large beach and lovely easy to swim in section of Atlantic coast. All in all this has been one of the best experiences for holidaying. I hope to return."

"A really nice three star hotel, where we were able to relax and swim. For the most part, this hotel, checked every box. But the only nitpicky thing I could come up with were the beds were slightly hard. Other than that, a pretty perfect stay. One really nice thing about this hotel was a fantastic view of the fireworks. Each night we sat out by the pool and watched the display over the bay. breakfast was good and I think a fair value."
