Clean, comfortable though a bit hot in room open windows and closed shutters worked great for the night. Ate breakfast, nice selection also provided gluten free alternatives. Dinner service looked good, a lot of locals that is always a good sign. Service personnel spoke several languages which is great.

I was stopping overnight to break a journey, and it was fine for that. Comfy bed and the owners were friendly and welcoming. But the room was too warm and I couldn't have the window open (at least to start with) because there was a very noisy fan just below my room.

Klein, ungemütlich. Fensterladen nicht zu öffnen, es wurde ein Klimagerät im Fenster montiert. Fenster konnte deswegen auch nicht geschlossen werden. Strassenlärm, Klimagerät laut und Bett wie Koofkissen sehr hart.

Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Hotel hat vom Ambiente Charm. In der warmen Sommerzeit blieb die Wärme im Zimmer trotz geöffneten Fenstern. Dies war für mich zum Schlafen ein wenig unangenehm.

Esperienza consigliata, lo staff è stato molto cordiale e disponibile… A Mendrisio per lavoro ci vado spesso, l’albergo è molto comodo alla stazione, cosa che ho sfruttato per recarmi in centro. Ma anche per una semplice camminata al lago. Credo da come sto scrivendo si capisca la bella esperienza che ho passato ed infatti ho lasciato 5 stelle su 5.

Piccolo hotel sito in posizione centrale, un po' datato ma con camere rinnovate. Il parcheggio esterno può essere riservato per 3 ore al massimo, alternativa parcheggiare a circa 500 metri

Das Albergo Svizzero ist ein sehr charmantes Hotel. Es ist ein historisches Gebäude, was man an der Inneneinrichtung im Bad sehr gut bemerkt, dafür war es aber sehr sauber. Capolago ist nicht sehr schön, aber der Ort Riva liegt 10 Minuten zu Fuss (gemütlich) und zeigt ein malerisches Dorf. Das Personal war freundlich und das Frühstücksbüffet war grossartig.
