"They upgraded my room from the small window view of the lake to the 4 separate units that had a wonderful view of the lake Staff was very kind and accommodating to my needs Even though the weather was rainy still had a warm cozy amenity filled room Nice pictures on the walls and the bed was super comfy and very quiet surroundings Could even see different variety of bird outside the window It definitely exceeded my expectations and would stay there agsin They even had a continental breakfast set up with waffle maker and syrup 2 thumbs up"

"The Woodstock Inn is simply one of the most gracious and inviting hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in. We recently decided to vacation in Vermont and finally see what the Inn was about. First, the setting and common areas are magnificent, with many areas to sit and relax. The reading room has chess and backgammon boards and dozens of books to read. It even has a wood-paneled game room with shuffleboard, pool, and yes even a vintage Ms. Pacman game! Our room was clean and well-appointed, with the most sumptuous King bed you could imagine. Elegant bath with subway tile and all new fixtures. Here's the bonus - the Inn's athletic facility is off-premise by a mile but it is a large facility with multiple work-out rooms, Olympic-size pool with hot tub, and daily classes. Fantastic! And finally, here is our favorite part - the collection of amiable doormen that really set the character of the Inn. Fun, engaging, and completely focused on service. Thank you Larry, Mark, and all of you for a wonderful stay! Hope to see you next year."

"This is a very interesting antique hotel. For seniors the rooms are very tiny and the lack of an elevator was a problem for us. The reception desk had cheerful young people who were the saving grace; immediately moving our luggage up the narrow stairs and getting us settled efficiently. "

"My room had a strong smell of marijuana. We could have changed rooms but that would have meant we were on a different floor from my parents who were 2 doors down. Our rooms were dated and could do with a repaint. The coffee machine in my parents room didnt work. Other than that we had a good stay."

"Last time at the White River Junction Super8, we had to try three rooms before we got one that didn't smell funny. Previous clients had smoked things in them. This time we tried a couple of rooms, and the best one wasn't really satisfactory. The management hasn't renovated and hasn't kept things free of smells."
