Great staff, close to a lot of food and shopping, Experian made it affordable for me, rooms are bigger than other hotels, lots of lighting not dark and dreary, even the guests are really friendly around you! Also kid friendly!

Staff is usually awesome and very helpful. Unless you get the mid eastern lady. She is very rude, not pleasant to talk to. And didn’t want to help me with one dollar exchange for quarters. So if you get her good luck. Aside from that. It’s quiet. And 5 star hotel compared to the super 8 a block down

There is an awesome lady in front office. For her privacy I will keep her name private but she is one of the sweetest lady’s ever. And there is also a brunette that works during the night that is also very kind. I can not speak for the owners. They are not very pleasant. Neve smile. Are not welcoming but they are lucky to have good employees up front because that draws the business. If it wasn’t for them. I dont think anyone would want to stay here. They are bitter people. The rooms are as good as it gets for the price. Not bad at all. And I am a germaphobe so take my word for it. It’s a decent spot to lay your head

Convenient option for the south Chicago area

Very old hotel, but it's ok. The room is spacious and clean, has microwave and fridge, the parking close to the room

Check-In staff is great, the morning house keeping lady would not stop knocking until you answered - though I had to yell through the door that I didn’t need service. The bedding, pillows, upkeep, and cleanliness of this hotel is what I would expect to see in a brothel; motel like at best.

Older property but great for budget minded travelers who do not need anything fancy, especially for the construction group. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Stayed almost 3 weeks while on project and multiple restaurants within walking or short drive. Stayed at other low budget places in area and this has been the best one.

We canceled our reservations at the hotel after seeing the conditions, as 3 individuals in the group would not even stay there after seeing the rooms. The whole hotel needs a major renovation. The staff that helped me there was very helpful and courteous.

-Adequate price relative to quality- The overall quality of the stay is well represented by the price. While not a horrible option for an overnight, I was disappointed to find how "dingy" the facilities were upon entering the room. While safe, a nervous sense developed when going to and from a vehicle to the room. Staff was helpful overall, but seemed annoyed when prompted with questions about the stay.
